  1. Congratulations! Wow - I would have guessed you would have been on 4000 already?! Man - you need to start contributing to GGG!
  2. I'm sure you guys have all stood in a house you're selling when all the furniture is gone - a lot of memories within the walls. But you move onwards and upwards to better things. Best wishes!
  3. I'm sorry but I think this thread is just like fly paper for troll posts and bad blood, and I don't see it reaching any kind of useful conclusion.
  4. Brilliant shots! I'm emailing them to a 911 owner I know has been sitting on the fence with the rep. I reckon these may tip him over
  5. Great shots! Bulldog's AR (and K222's) is absolutely outstanding. I must say my taste's have evolved too. I do like the 'tint' (see my sig, that's Cheiftang v1, via a trade) - especially around dusk it gives a neat reminder 'hey, I'm AR'd'. Keeps me occupied while walking the dog Anyway - I loved that look until I saw the new stuff up close. Holy crap - it's incredible - functionally better than the gen as you have demonstrated. I have the UPO with (K222) AR and it's unbelievable.
  6. It is the shiznit! How much is the HKtan strap? I'm not feeling a big tidal wave against grey here by the way
  7. Plus the additional accuracy of quartz helps them get dinner on the table at the right time, while the inaccuracy of a stopped manual wind allows me to return from the pub up to two to three weeks late The FM's are popular with the girls. My better half has a ladies Conquistador, and took possession of my Vegas.
  8. That's a great tip - much appreciated. I love the 'look' of blue dial watches because they look awesome with the steel - and yet on the wrist they're never quite the same. Weird. The grey seems to look brilliant with the brown leather strap looking at Breitling's website. I'm just interested that the consensus seems to be so overwhelmingly for the grey.
  9. That is true that the lenses outlast the camera (children-induced accidents aside). 12 Megapixels is going to seem retarded when the one-click 3mm 100 Megapixel Sony Easyshot comes out or whatever Which can only mean....must buy more lenses! Stephane - I have realised exactly what you mean. I thought I was pretty good at standing in front of something and pressing the button (!) then I try it with a real camera and they're all terrible. But, when they're right - they're absolutely outstanding. I'm just keen for some more daylight so I can use it again. It came in 1 day from Hong Kong incidentally - whoa the rep guys need to step up their game!! The idea with buying it was to lock in the old exchange rate - I noticed that the US dollar had shifted up at last, but some sellers were still selling at the old rate in my local currency.
  10. I already tried that for six weeks - it didn't stop her whinging to fix it. Still - another six can't do any harm Thanks again for the tip!
  11. I notice that grey seems to be far and away the most popular dial colour for people buying a Skyland (maybe I'm wrong but that's what it seems). Any particular reason why you have been choosing the grey one? (Or not, for that matter).
  12. Genius solution, thank you! You've given me hope where I had none Cheers!
  13. I just got this new toy in the hope that it can improve my golf swing...I mean my photographs. Basically - Ken, step aside, there is a new photo king in town So lots of prize winning watch shots to come! Anyway - my question to the experts is this - how do I turn the loud 'beep' off for when I'm taking photos of the woman next door sunbathing topless?
  14. I have a common problem with a watch that has been sitting on the shelf for ages. The crown will no longer screw down on my better half's ladies FM Conquistador due to a stripped crown tube thread. (It is 'sprung' so there's pressure pushing the crown away). What are the options to repair that? Is that something I can DIY or take to a local repairer? Or will I need to source a replacement part?
  15. :clapping: :air_kiss: :throb: :diablo:
  16. One By-Tor review of this beauty and Rolex will sell a thousand of them Wear it well
  17. Na - you're like this for DVD's too! I bet the postman is getting fed up of all the weeping hugs at the front door
  18. I think you can edit it; I edited it for you.
  19. Dave123 has answered the question; all posts have been edited as dealers generally don't like this information in the wild.
  20. The FM's are great. My better half started with a ladies one and has now appropriated my Vegas (a very cool movement for the money, like the Crazy Hours). I like my Crazy Hours, never have the time to get the strap it deserves though - I will one day.
