  1. I got this back from The Zigmeister a few weeks ago but haven’t had time to post. As expected The Zigmeisters work is above reproach, and the lume is beautiful. Some interesting information after the service was performed… the watch is 3 years old, however the movement is more than 20 years old. On a positive note it is a gen Swiss movement, and running fine after a few parts have been replaced. Thanks The Zigmeister! Now a few photos. The Zigmeister lume PO Lume
  2. I smoked for 21 years, give or take a year. I have tried numerous techniques like everyone else, what made me stop… I would lay in bed at night and listen to the rattle as I take a breath. My father has infazema and can’t walk twenty feet without needing a break, I knew it wasn’t going to happen to me. I learned to dip snuff while in the Navy, I was an aircrew man and couldn’t smoke for hours at a time. This created a duel problem as I have used both for the last eight years, but it also contributed to the cure. I started to use dip only for two weeks, and then I moved to cigars and dip for two weeks, then I smoked cigars for two months (not inhaling) on and off. The last day I had any nicotine was September 10 2009 I will never use it again. As a side note I did not drink for a month after I quit, this was the most difficult, as well as the most important part. My wife still smokes and all I have to say to her is “you stink”. Good luck and I hope this works for you.
  3. i love it, i have a gen bezel that is waiting for something like this. where did you get it? damn, i just told my wife i wouldnt buy a watch for a while...
  4. 703 would work, i think a 704 is correct. not 100% on that.
  5. That crown looks ridiculous, I am not a sub guy but… maybe it’s the angle, but it looks like it sticks out as much as a PO. Didn’t you buy a few gen crowns a while back? that would help a bunch
  6. are you talking about the DSSD?
  7. Thanks, it’s one of the cars I have always wanted. I got the import race car thing out of my system a few years ago and now just want to look at this beauty, polish it, and drive it on the weekends. Well maybe some hot-rod’n, too bad it started snowing today.
  8. Thanks, I was discussing the 6 speed vs automatic with a friend today, I reminded him how we replaced the clutch in my car twice and his once when we were in high school. If you would have asked me about an automatic even 2 years ago I would have said “No way” but I am getting older and maybe a little wiser now; the automatic seems more of a practical choice for an impractical car. If it were a Ferrari… it would be different.
  9. I had to make some adjustments to my insurance today anyway, and had a separate jewelry insurance added… it will cost me $9 a month for $15,000 of coverage (will cover loss, theft, damage, etc. at $0.00 deductable), at that rate I would be good with a $60,000 to $90,000 watch. Before this it was hard to wear a $3500 watch.
  10. I was truly hoping that this would be the year I got my 16613 Sub, but this blows that out of the water. Although my gen budget is now gone for the year, I couldn’t be happier with my present. A 1996 Collectors Edition Corvette
  11. Oops, guess I should have refreshed before I replied.
