Hate to say it, but that statement that it costs $3 causes me to loser all confidence in anything you have to say. The goddamn movement cost a hell of a lot more. And how nice of you to to provide them with a better wage than their lower paid chinese counterparts. They should be so grateful to us westerners. Yes, Massuh!
Whoever said "Ignorance is bliss"?
I've got both and luv them. It's a tough choice. I think if it is your first, you might go for the Navi........it's a very impressive piece.
....then get the Bentley!
What's so funny is that everyone on the dark side is complaining about "price fixing". That's exactly how the Gen watchmakers operate. Every AD has to adhere to the price fix. When you think you've gotten a deal because they "discounted" it for you, that's part of the deal from the manufacturers. Try selling at lower prices and your toast.
Business as usual.
For me it's been a boon. I've sold my house and bought a bigger one. I was able to trade in a Honda for a Maserati. bought a new airplane and am now able to travel at will.
...........all because of buying reps.
............whose calling? oh, that's the attendant. Time for my meds. Later.
EL was the most entertaining dealer. I miss him. Bought a lot from him and never had issues. Actually, I think his day job was as a coroner??
He just got fed up with all the BS from customers. Can't say I blame him.
We constantly complain about dealers. I hate to think of all the BS they have to live with.
My friend is a major collector (he just sold 14 vintage daytona's). Still has about 20 various rolex's. He is apparently one of those who gets it first. I saw it before I knew it was hard to get. That was three weeks ago, so they are around.
A friend of mine has the new deepsea. Got to admit it is a spectacular looking watch. Can't wait for the rep. The GMT doesn't do it for me.
Other than that, I'm more of a vintage fan when it comes to rolex.
