a lot of speculation without the facts. Simply put, one dealer tried to steal the thunder and the others said "no way". Over the years we've seen this before. It's only temporary.
This Dewitt is pretty much spot on. (what are the odds that you'll have the real one to compare?). It is a great watch. winds smooth and has been bulletproof.
Terrifice review and very informative. I've held back on this movement and probably still wait to hear "field" reports from other users. I have two seconds at 6 (daytona and IWC) and the IWC has become a paperweight so I'm still taking a "wait and see" attitude.

Don't worry. Don't be over anal. get one from one of our dealers (after researching the forum). You won't be disapointed and either will someone who admires that watch on your wrist.
I've taken your advice and only shake it. The problem for me is that sometimes I want to put it on a watchwinder since I have a large collection and don't rotate them frequently enough, and only shaking it, won't give it enough "juice" to keep it running on a winder.
