  1. Yes! It should be there already . . .
  2. Marco. Check out the KEVLAR strap from strapculture. It would look great with my your 212!!
  3. It used to require a bit of Luck.
  4. Garfield Hydro
  5. That's how I screwed up my 1665. I was very careful pressing the release button, and yet still a dropped works. Luckily, my 1665 is finally coming home tomorrow from daytonat. Yahoo!
  6. My son says he's open to trades . . . perhaps a Davidsen PVD??
  7. . . . my three year old son, that is. LOL. The first is a genuine Bijoux Terner with quartz movement. It seems to be more accurate than any of mine and also has decent lume. The other is a limited edition Garfield "Hydro" and bubbling crown - no lume though.
  8. Hi all. How durable is a PVD finish, specifically on Davidsen's PVD models? I wouldn't mind wearing a PVD watch and getting 'bright' rub marks on it, but it would really bother me if steel showed through a scratch or mark. I am particularly worried about wear on the lugs from strap changes and also wear on the CG from opening/closing lever. Thanks.
  9. I love this watch with black dial and silver (or white?) subdials. Stunning. Nice pics too.
  10. Who, what? 618?? Where?? How?? Goodness man, where did you locate one of those?????
  11. I agree M. I'm now on the fence, however, on engraving the CG. Did you engrave your other CG after blowing up the first one?
  12. Great tip Ubs!
  13. Best explanation I've seen. Thank you. This really should be a sticky in the repair section - it happens SO often . . . well, to me at least.
  14. Amazing . . . at just over half the price of the strap, this asian 183H from Jon holds its own against the Greg Stevens Primo Tan. It has decent lume also.
  15. Nice pics. There seems to be so much variation in the crown thickness and edge sharpness among the gen 201's and the like. One at watches24 seven doesn't have as thick or sharp of a crown.
  16. What a beautiful watch, I must add to my list of wants.
  17. Ok. You are right. But, this is still not an endorsement. The facts remain: my 111H is beautiful, it has the newest movement which has been working flawlessly, and it was sourced from Natalie by a friend of mine who has bought other watches from her. Add these facts to her prior history, whether postive or negative, and make your own judgement. IMO, the movement issue is not really that big of an issue for those who intend to have their 111H modded with the recessed pin fix, superlume and new crown anyway. Just have the issue addressed when these mods are done. According to Zig, the issue CAN be resolved.
  18. Thanks Ubs. I just spit coffee all over my laptop LMAO!
  19. Doh. I'm curious whether there will be a funtioning power reserve meter.
  20. 6152 and Compass . . . Depth gauge on other arm . . . I love these pieces . . . I never take them off!!!!!!
  21. Any chance of a better Big Pilot coming out this year? Would make a great birthday gift . . . to myself.
  22. Nice PVD Tutima. I've been having the itch to get a davidsen PVD. Now i know why . . . you just got one.
