Here's a pic the movement in my 111H. Looks like I have a strange bend in my hairspring, if I'm looking at the right thingy.

Sorry, but I don't know what I'm looking for . . . where is the hairspring bent in the picture?

Aah, but wouldn't the larger case size open up the opportunity to install other 8-day pocket watch movements, such as the more plentiful Walthams?? It would be a solid case back anyway, so who cares what the movement looks like - as long as it fits and gives you 8 days!! Hmmm.

thanks Kanerich. There's no issues, as far as you know, with fitting the jimmyzfu CG to rep cases? I don't remember where, but I've read that some have had issues with the mounting hole spacing.

I wonder if the Palpatine or Lello crowns include the spring.

A Palpatine or Lello crown, floppy lever fix as described above, and a little shaving of the cam end of the lever to accomodate the thicker Palpatine or Lello crown goes a long way toward making your 111H look convincing on the wrist.

Nothing fishy about Helflands. I've purchased numerous items from them, though I'm not sure how they would handle receiving a rep for reluming.

I didn't buy directly from Natalie. But, the friend I purchased it from has made numerous purchases from her recently and in the past. He's 100% on delivery and quality of watches from her. This is not an endorsement. This is just fact. Even our best dealers here have their detractors.

The strap is a prototype Strapculture "Antiqua". It was 26/26, but I shaved it down to about 24.5 to fit my 111H. I love this strap!!

Thanks Mark. But, does the original Cortebert pocket watch stem accomodate the movement of the crown as it is screwed down toward the case? The pocket watch only has the two positions - winding and time setting. The pocket watch doesn't have a screw down crown, so I've assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that the step wouldn't work because of this. Does this make sense, what I'm concerned about?
