  1. Excellent post. Ubi ? I have the Vj 23 and a DW mystery movement. What do you mean when you said Do I need new hands or the hans for the DW mystery movement will fit the VJ23 ? Also, did you use a extension to the stem, or swap stems for a tap 10 ? Thanks, P

  5. I think the movement is Landeron 248 (diameter 31mm) and this need to be fix. the spring is not keeping tension on stop reset pusher. P
  6. you can get tube and crown from ebay (~60u$ both). i think this sub takes genuine tubes. PM, if you need help or if you want to sell it, as is. P
  7. the same here ! got a Wakmann tri-register day and date, but it went for overhaul. I couldn't take it a part. the 6263 has to wait.

  9. i used a bezel remover. i works fine, and a press to put it back
  10. I got two DW 6263, both with movement problems. One solution to movement problems was to change the movement, but find Vj23 is very difficult at least for me. If any member has a VJ23 for sale, I will be happy to buy it. Or point me to get one will be excellent. Thanks, P
  11. remove the base and press it back in place, check if it is secure and put the part back. and, don't lose the screw. P
  12. 1) no way 2) if no other (but now up for 3 mov) 3) Vj23 are hard to find. 4) Vj72 based, Who can source one of this ?. It makes more sense to me.

Took the two watches out, try 1 doesn't move and 2 went crazy. 1) It was having stopped and goes problems before, I got it used. 2) This is a new one, never use it before. wind up two or three turns and the hands go so fast around (cool but broken) Does anybody fix these things, or I need new movements? Please suggestions Thanks P :yucky: I got another broken from jimbo this week. this is killing me.
  14. @Tribal Thank, last weeekend I changed the tube on my MBW 1680 but tube did not sit flush on the case and the stem was way too long. Next, weekend I will get back to this. Thanks again. I get my tubes from ebay, but tread part that goes in the case is short compared to genuine, from where do you get yours ?
  15. @Bignasty You can buy tubes from ebay, or if you are in EU (Uk) you can order tubes more easier from watch part store, dont have the link with me now, but I sure you can find the link in RWG. @tribal which tool did you used to screw the crown in, torx 8 or 9, or you own the real tool ? did you remove some metal to allow genuine crown to sit right on the case ? did you cut the stem, in mine it looks a little long to swap it without cutting 1-2mm?
