  1. i was done after 3 Breitlings ... or so i thought MAJOR props for an outstanding review !
  2. i got a 52" sharp LCD after my 47" samsung big screen kicked the bucket for the 4th time in 4 years i did read up on avsforum.com & came away with this anything under 42" and you're wasting the HD signal so might as well get a loss-leader 32"-37" CRT @ that point most folk can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 42" so i'd like the 50+ sizes LCD works better in well-lit rooms while plasma displays black colors better both plasma and LCD have their advantages/disadvantages so pick one tech that you'll be comfy with when it comes to LCD, get Sony or Sharp ... when it comes to plasma, go for Pioneer or Panasonic lastly comparing telly sets side-by-side @ the showroom is never a good idea
  3. didn't everyone look like Ron Jeremy back then ?
  4. x 10000000000000 i have noticed that the grey dials on Breitlings look better with brown leather sometimes
  5. haha OMG i didn't realize you guys were fans of the dynamic duo (& a half) i must start paying more attention to the show from now
  6. what color Porsche do ya drive ? pick one that matches the car closest
  7. no clues on Hawaii (yet) but i've been in/around Vegas wining/dining/clubbing is what most folk do in Vegas but do visit the malls/boutiques. Can do a fair amount of shopping even with a relatively lower sterling the Grand Canyon's south rim is nearly 6 hours away so ya might wanna stay overnight when ya get there dining options are rather limited in the Canyon village though and if you're a REALLY hardcore outdoor enthusiast ya can even trek all the way down and up from the south side another option is to head 2/3 hours north into Utah and come down to the Canyon from the north side its native American territory so the tarmac is as bad as a motocross track but they have the Skywalk which hangs over the canyon so it might appeal to you. Southern Utah is also home to Zion Canyon National park and hwy 9 that heads east off the I-15 goes through some of the most beautiful red rock you'll ever see including a 1.1 mile long tunnel cut through the mountain range. Perhaps after Zion Canyon, you can do the complete loop & visit Lake Powell in northern AZ (home of the grand canyon) while you're there, come down from the east side, visit the south face of the Grand Canyon and be back in Vegas within 24-72 hours Near Vegas, you'll be fairly close to Lake Mead so feel free to venture out for some recreational jet skiing/boating with the your lady love. You could also go to Hoover Dam but its just an old place and rather played out IMO if something else comes to mind i'll post up later
  8. Thank you ... see ya don't wanna be ya no but seriously if someone wishes to pursue the conversation i'm more than happy to guide them to rwg last week i was waiting for a bracelet re-size @ the local watchsmith when a guy walked in asking to fix his rollie's crown by the time our conversation ended i had scrawled rwg.cc on a piece of paper to him
  9. why are they using images from genuine items if they're selling replicas ? why aren't they members on iOffer.com anymore ?

  12. passing on the inside ... tsk tsk did ya podium at least ?
  13. earlier today, i had a long convo about rep maintenance w/a local shop he said that if a rep automatic is within 30 secs/day he can easily live with it if it loses more, then bring it in and expect to pay a minimum of $75 for a service/lube/seal job the only real alternative to absolute infallible punctuality is to get a digital watch then we laughed about how doctors always wear digital timepieces but are always late for their appointments
  14. y'know that can be a common sight in some parts of Hollyweird
  15. Thanks bossman lets see if i can score one anytime soon
