There is no sound like a vintage Sansui. The deep rich bass from those old amps is spectacular. I played mine so much it finally blew up. I think it was around 25 years old. I have now a pioneer, an onkyo and a denon. Great for home theater, but the old speakers with huge drivers and old amps with tremendous current somehow out rock them all.
I do remember most of my reps being shipped from TW back in the day. I usually dealt with River or Sean. I emailed Sean not too long ago and he is still in business but no longer on the board. I agree that the TW reps do have a better feel. I still have an old day date and the bracelet is the best I have seen. The genuine sapphire crystal is thicker than any other and the dial and date mag are perfect. China is innovating all the new super reps. They have taken over the market leaving TW in the dust.
Well it looks like I got what I asked for but there is no way in hell I am spending $800 on a rep with asian 7750 movement. The SS ceramic bezel version is under $600. Why such a big price difference for gold plating? There can't be much gold in this one to warrant a $200 price difference, although I don't see why a ceramic bezel should cost $200 more than the base model.
Easy come easy go............................
In just 5 short days the No limit action came and went. Check out this article:
Sun Sentinel Article
Very dissapointing. What really gets me is why the Seminoles would stop the action if they didn't have to? Why do they care so much about being in line with the tracks?
I think the action will be back shortly. There is a thirst for high stakes action here in Florida. Back to the private games for now.
That one is already obsolete. I have the upgraded version with the two ton hypervexilator and superinducitive flux capacitor. It is couple with 3.56 gigawatts and a jigglemeister retrograde hoosywhatsit. There is no comparison.
BTW, Where did you get the pic of that Micky Mouse Rolex? I have been looking for one of those.
These people have way too much time on their hands. I always felt that there is something wrong with grown men in costumes.
There a lot more impressive stuff in the related section. Real japanese robots etc.
I love how the pictures say "executive watches copyright". I wonder if he used a replica attorney to register his copyright to the pictures of trademark infringing products.
They have been yanking small boutique dealers franchises for quite some time now. I read an article not too long ago about a guy who had been an Omega AD for 20 or so years and they stopped shipping to him. They said they want to improve their image by selling only in high volume mega stores who honor the retail price with no discount. It's just like what Rolex has done for years. Only recently did I start seeing Rolex AD's offering discounts. You would think this would hurt their sales. Isn't business about bottom line? Image isn't everything.
