  1. I think it is supposed to be 39mm. I could be mistaken. Also the DW has a manual wind copy of the v23 movement. Plus this one is horribly innacurate. The subdial spacing is all wrong. No where near a DW.
  2. Doesn't look all original. If it was even in this condition it would be worth big $$$.
  3. It does feel good to give back. It's not easy to do something like that in Venezuela I'm sure. One year I had a similiar experience. I went with a group of people to an area in Miami they cal the jungle. Very depressed full of abandoned buildings and homeless people living on the streets. We gave out hundreds of bag lunches. Usually people don't dare to go down to this area but the people were very greatful and I didn't feel threatened at any time. Felt good too.
  4. Thanks for the advice but we have both searched online for a couple days. There is a lot of information on this herb but I can't seem to find anyone who sells it. I am in Florida and our Chinese markets are very limited here. More Chinese buffets than anything and General Tsao's chicken won't help. I hate to put anyone out, but I have no other idea how to get this stuff. I appreciate the help Ken. If you can send an email I would appreciate it. She is in much pain and the doc wants her to start on percoset and hormones and that isn't good for you. This herb is the only thing she has found that is proven without side affects.
  5. Nice how the hands cover the logos and brand names are cropped out. Also notice no brand name in the description. Clever, but how will anyone find them?
  6. My girlfriend has a medical condition that requires some really nasty drugs with side affects. It was suggested by someone with the same condition that she use a certain kind of Chinese herb in pill or tea form. it is called: Shakuyaku-Kanzo-To or TJ-68 (also known as shao-yao-gan-cao-tang). Does anyone know where I can order this or can someone in China pick some up for me and send it? I will be more than happy to compensate you for your time and effort. Thanks.
  7. By the title I thought the thread would be a lot more exciting. Even more so when you said "Ok all, how much trouble am I in?" Oh well. Good luck though.
  8. Yes. Yellow is hot. Looks especially good hanging out the driver's side of a bright yellow Volkswagen Beetle.
  9. What had to be censored about a flat tube? This has gone too far
  10. There's something about a bright yellow watch that screams manly
  11. I don't like either of these new versions. They don't look right and scream fake IMO. I heard they are going to release a full gold version with the ceramic bezel. Any word on this? That is the version I will buy.
  12. I don't mind paying more for a rep of a watch i really want but won't buy genuine. I try buy reps of watches that would cost $10,000 or more genuine new so even $500 for a rep isn't bad. There will always be a market for the high priced reps. Look where we started. 5 or 6 years ago a so so sub with eta movement was $500 anyway.
  13. I'm a huge Sopranos fan. I have watched every episode faithfully on Sundays for the past 7 seasons. Been through countless girlfriends in this amount of time but one thing has held true with each one of them. Keep your mouth shut between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday. I had a great party last night with some friends, food, wine and wore my Tony Soprano day date during the show. I was a little upset that they didn't at least have a 2 hour finale. After being a loyal fan for all these years I thought they owed me that. Thinking about the way it ended I am not dissapointed. I feel the ending was appropriate and unexpected. I'm glad they got Phil and at the end they made you think that everyone was going to get whacked. I'm sure people other than us thought there was something wrong with the TV when the screen went blank. I like the fact they left it open. There are talks of a movie. It was very creative the way they wound it down. At the end it was just another day in the life. And they reminded you that the show isn't about mafia but about family. What do you think?
  14. I tried Ambien and it doesn't work for me. It gets me to sleep and 2 hours later I'm wide awake. Xanax works much better. Either that or a couple snifters of Sambuca and a toke or two of some good herbal remedy
  15. My first thoughts are that it doesn't look right. Especially the engravings between the lugs. Not deep enough. Check out the description: "it even has a stopwatch". Either this guy is a total moron and doesn't know a thing about watches or is a total scammer.
  16. I'm wearing my trusty "perfect" sub I just got from Dave NYC. I feel like such a noob. Sunday I'll be wearing this while watching the final episode of The Soprano's. Just like Tony
  17. Update: Paris hilton may be going back to jail. The news this morning said she goes before a judge today. There is public outrage over celebrities getting special treatment.
  18. What he means is the Rolexes we get here are the real fakes. Not the super fake ones that are $1.80. You have to pay $300 for a genuinely fake watch that is really genuinely fake. Not somewhat fake or even being represented as genuinely fake. The really fake genuines are the ones they should look out for.
  19. I see alot of family men here. makes me feel sad to be the swinging bachelor. Nights filled with different women all the time along with endless drinks at the clubs and bars. Noone to blow up my phone when I don't come home. What kind of life do I lead stuffing dollar bills into stripper's g-strings every weekend? Yes you married folk are truly blessed........................
  20. This is definatley good news. Maybe our beloved ETA based watches will become Sellita based and we will have a reasonably priced reliable chrono movement. If these movements are as good as ETA I have no problem buying watches with these.
  21. Same thing happened to me a while ago. I wear genuine Cartier eyeglasses. The frames alone retail for $1,700 (I have a connection with a hefty discount though) not to mention $300 for the prescription lenses. I woke up one morning after getting pretty wasted and had some people over my house. I couldn't find my glasses anywhere. For about a month was wearing an older not as stylish pair that I had and was sure I had lost my second pair of Cartier glasses (the first pair was left on the bar). Then one day while straightening up I lifted up a hat and there they were. The whole time sitting under a hat. Must have put them there when I was drunk so I wouldn't lose them. Your watch will probably turn up in the place you least expect after you had forgotten about it and are ready to order a new one like I was. If it was stolen, just think about the look on the thief's face when he tries to pawn it.
  22. Ask pugwash. He knows.
  23. I took my two tone apart and the markers are just screwed in.
  24. I don't know if they still make this exact model, but I have seen the SS version sell used for $15,000 to $20,000.
  25. The 116520 is all SS. Is he so stupid to think it was white gold plated or did you get the model number wrong? As fro the ticking issue I have heard that many times. I was wearing a GENUINE Persident circa 1981. The movent in the older rolex models don't have as high a beat as the newer ones and some schmuck told me it was fake. Idiots. Even with the ETA movements you have a little jump from time to time but that is the case with all auto movements. The people that think they are the brightest are usually the most misinfomed.
