Thanks for the comparison shots. I had the smaller version a while back but sold it due to the small size. This looks like it would get lots of wrist time. Stop posting pics of that Royal Oak. It's growing on me once again and I have too many watches on order right now to be toying with these ideas.

Why doesn't anyone show their faces around here?

I have three asian 7750 seconds @ 6 daytonas. One stopped working right away, one works well, sometimes loses time, and the oldest one I have runs flawlessly. The oldest one is from Sean (etaswiss) and I bought it right when it came out. The one that died within two weeks is from king and the other is from paul. Both from king and paul are two tone and the original is SS. I noticed the two tone versions have a different case. Much thicker than the original. The overall finish on the SS verison is also much better. The clasp shuts without effort and is even and flush. the two tone models have a different thumbnail imprint on the clasp and don't shut as smooth. With these differences it is safe to assume that they are from different factories. Pauls and kings appear to be from the same. Another difference is the rotor noise. The rotor is much noisier on the two tone versions. The SS one is surprisingly quiet. Does anyone know if different factories have different 7750 movements? Is there more than one factory making them? Is there any way to differentiate between the two or more versions and can we make sure we get the better one? I am convinced that there is a reliable 7750 movement out there. It has been proven in the reliability of watches I own. I am posting this on 3 forums for varied opinions.

I agree. I have been to several Player's Balls and Internet Porn star conventions in Miami. Very nice people. May have something to do with all the coke being snorted but still.................. As for Paris, [censored] her. She's just an uneducated [censored]. A little grey goose and a bag of blow, you get her panties off. She isn't going to prison, it's county jail. I have friends that are away for lifetimes and everyone is making a big deal about a few weeks. I could do that standing on my head (not that i'd want to). I say instead of jail send her to my old neighborhood for a month. Let her hang out with the people and find out what lif is really like. Make her drink beer from a paper bag and wear clothes from the flea market in public. The private humiliation isn't enough for the drunk [censored].

Quite appropriate. I too have a big winder from the bay. If it lasts half as long as one of my reps, I could still buy 20 more and not come close to the cost of one of those.

Not for nuthin' that is an ugly watch............. And I'll save you the time of saying not as ugly as the most iced out Jacob on the planet Great pictures though TTK. Your photo skill does give the B&R a bit of pinache..................

I too have been admiring this watch for several years. Love it with the blue dial. I can't bring myself to buy the RO jumbo, but I think this one will end up on my wrist soon. Did I say I love that dial?

So I was wondering how you choose what watch to wear?
jfreeman420 replied to cableguy's topic in General Discussion
When I get a new watch and i like it it usually gets worn for a week straight. Other times I choose the watch to match the occasion and what I'm wearing but the clothes usually match the occasion anyway. Occasions: Work: Switch daily to match the outfit. Club: Subtle bling, but not too much to be unbelieveable with the ladies. I. e.Yachtmaster, Day date, TT sub/daytona/BCE. Strip club: super bling. Strippers are attracted to shiny objects and not too bright. Better service if you look like money. The Gold iced pearlmaster and super president get much time here. Dinner with the g/f: Something reserved. She doesn't like bling so it's the daytona, yachtmaster, iwc ingy only. -

That is the toughest game around. I only play holdem. Sometimes I'll sit down to 7 card or razz for fun. I like pineapple but noone plays it in the casino. Only online.

Watch repair Technician in South Florida

I bring my genuine watches to Ira at Brecashe in Boynton beach. They do great work and have a Rolex certified tech. They also give you a 1 year warranty for the work. They are not cheap as no Rolex certified tech that uses genuine parts would be. They are however reasonable. Regular service should run around $350. As for the reps, he has sized several rep Omega and Rolex bracelets for me. Some at no charge. They are not an AD but do sell pre owned gens. As for opening them up and knowing for sure they were fake, all you can do is ask. If your flooded watch needs new parts $500 is probably not out of line. -
Next year? This year's wsop is right around the corner. I'm working on raising money to get there. I need about $20,000 to $50,000 total for the main event, hotel stay, expenses and side games/smaller tourneys. I'm willing to split the winnings with anyone who wants to add to the bankroll. Other peoples money is more motivating Bellagio is nice but if you want some real action come sit down with me at Caesars. Much better room and way more fish.

An old treasure my grandmother gave me :).....

Be careful with the restoration. Clean the dial but don't repaint it. The value will be higher with an original dial carefully cleaned than a complete redial. Not that you would ever sell it, but I feel the age adds character as well. -

Went to a watch show this weekend......
jfreeman420 replied to jfreeman420's topic in General Discussion
What I don't understand is that these aren't very expensive genuine models to begin with. You can have one of the vintages in nice condition for $500 to $1,500 am I wrong? Why go through all the trouble and expense to pass off a $1,000 watch as genuine when you have $850 in parts to make it? Is there a higher end price for these vintage models? -
How much did the member make selling it back to you?
