Rep:
If I drop it on the floor. Oh well.
If I got bored. Let's open the caseback and mess around with it. [censored], I've broke it. Let's sell the parts on RWG
But the number one reason why rep is so fun:
Modification!!
Hmm, I don't like the dial, let's buy another rep and swap the dial. Look, I have one of a kind watch here
It's as good as the gen. It's the same thing except a caseback.
I think that any die hard Panerai fan that have the resource will do the same, at least for me.
It's much more rewarding to build a watch at this caliber than spent 20k on the same thing.
Nice 218/A. Congrats.
I agree with you about the 218/A also. I've bought FGD 201/A, 202/A, 203/A, 205/A and 218/A. Sold them all except the 218/A dial
Now waiting patiently for W's case, FGD's new Pre-V handset so I can complete the built
I don't think you want to microwave it, it won't melt since it's not plastic, but could be fire hazard since it's metal, brass perhaps.
I also don't think FGD lume will get darker over time because it's not real tritium.
Vaclume can relume the dial for you since Zigmeister not an option for you.
Reluming is not necessary on lumed FGD dial.
I would think you should have no problem asking for $1700-$1800.
PVD: $300
Relumed: 150
Gen crown: 150
DW: 100
Cyclop: 100. It probably didn't cost that much, but considering it's almost impossible to find it.
I didn't included the service cost because it's a good selling point but usually I don't see anyone trying to sell the watch with service cost included, or shipping cost to modder, nor installation cost.
I probably would be interested in the watch once you decided to sell depending on how much.
Looks good. Probably relume the markers to make them fill the squares completely, and throw on the new Ultimate crystal you have? Or you are saving that one for your 86/89?
Yep, it's completely wrong, almost everything on this piece is wrong to the original 091. The CG is the rollerball type also
Heck, the caseback is the shadow caseback of the Pam 090.
