  1. Thanks Kbiz for your reply. Do you know if the 27A/28A that DSN been selling have 2 different version of the crystal?
  2. Excellent photos Is the DW sunken on this Ultimate version? I assuming it is better than the GMT version because of no extra GMT gear mod.
  3. Sorry to hijack you thread RickHiC. I have a couple questions to the Pam experts regarding the 28A crystal/cyclop. Is there any ultimate watch that have use the same crystal/cyclop for the 28A? The correct size is 6mm right?
  4. The movement ring needs modification, the thickness of the movement will not be a problem. You need to find a proper 7753 dial version because the placement of the date window of your 7750 dial will not be the same. While there, you'll need a thicker font on the DW if you are looking for close to 1:1 to the gen font, Leo from repgeek is one if you can get in touch with him, discontinued Lello version also good. I also think that the hands may need modification if the 7750 is the 28.8k bps, the 21.6k bps version doesn't need. But good modder can make it work. This will not be a cheap project, you will need at least 1K min to get a decent 7753 powered Daylight. If I were you, I would send an email to Vaclume or Zigmeister about the project before buying parts for the project. You can check out the link in my sig. The watch is done by Vaclume, he said too much work involved and may not take anymore 7753 conversion project. But, why not shoot him an email? Good luck to you.
  5. I cannot recommend any watch related but... for sight seeing, nothing much to see in the south... Ho Chi Minh City is ~7 millions people, and the average temperature right now is around mid 90s F... Good for.. umm, massage very cheap. One hour of service costs about $7, with tip, $10/hour. If you travel with your wife/girlfriend, take a plane up North (Hanoi, the capital), ticket should be around $50 one way, Jetstar is the cheapest. Once there, visit Ha Long Bay, a Unesco site, two hours drive, for a 2-3 days cruise, or Sapa if you like hiking. Once done, travel to central Vietnam for beaches, Imperial city (similar to the Forbidden city in China but smaller), Emperor tombs if you really bored.. Hope you'll have a great trip. Below are some pictures I took last year during summer visit. Whatever you do, DO NOT FORGET to try out sugarcane juice drink, $.50/drink Look for this, yes yes, it looks not very clean isn't it? Sapa (North) Ha Long Bay (North) Hoi An (Central) Old town, another Unesco site, I don't have any decent daylight pictures, below is a picture taken at night at the beach. You can see you can just sit there with your friends, love one, with tiny little oil lamp, listen to the wave, chit chat, and order fresh seafood, beer available of course
  6. Thank you AmStaFF for the help. Unfortunately in order for me to find out the quote, it needed the shipper address, which I don't have. Basically, I am waiting for a package (a watch) from a seller from Germany. First he told me it would cost $30 for Express Mail, so I paid him the cost. Then a week later, no shipping info, so I ask him. He said in order to ship Express, it will be around $70.... and as of today (2 weeks since the payment made) I still have no words from him when he will ship out the watch. That's why I am checking on the cost of shipping. $70 to ship a watch is.... I don't know.
  7. I am trying to check the shipping cost to ship a watch via Express Mail from Germany to USA. If anyone have the information please share. Thank you.
  8. Bwhitesox, yes yes I'll wait longer just a little more Hooky, I had no idea that the one on cartel website no longer available. Description said it has the new A7750 so I assuming it should be available, and I was able to added it to the cart. Anyhow, thank you for your clarification.
  9. As the title said. I wanted to built a 24A and after many months waiting for one of these old school 24A to show up but no luck. So I may have to go with the current cartel 24.... http://www.trustywatchguy.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_47&products_id=32 Cheers and Merry Christmas to everyone.
  10. Congratulations. Beautiful Daylight. Keeper for sure.
  11. That is one ABSOLUTELY STUNNING watch!!! Next several days... Must get DW fix on this one!!!
  12. On the Daylight series. Both the incorrect 7750 and the correct 7753 date window are between the 4/5 marker. The 7753 sits slightly toward the outter edge of the dial. A couple of pictures for comparision. The one with the DW of course is the 7750 dial, while the lonely dial is the 7753. You can see the 7753 dial DW window is closer to the 5 o'clock marker
  13. 100

    DLC vs. TiAlN

Avitt, I really like that TiAIN look.. Gonna have an order for ya soon
  14. Was going to put this one up for sale but a quick look at it on the wrist changed my mind ETA 2892-A2 Soprod 9040 Power Reserve Module, OEM crown, Lello, Vintage lume and movt serviced by the master up north.
  15. If you want to starts out with DSN as a base watch, then definitely make sure he uses the standard case, so that the 1:1 CG such as V's CG (THE right CG for 111H) can fit. I would: Get a LH 111H watch, then get it DLC.
  16. It's a quartz movement. The watch looks seriously nice though.
  17. WOW... very very nice. The AR is excellent.
  18. http://luxurywatchexchange.com/detail.asp?id=37099 It's an actual model. Too bad, the rep manufacture managed to got the wrong spelling on the caseback. Paneria instead of Panerai.
  19. So beautifully done. Excellent pictures as well. Sell? Let me know!!!
  20. Would be greatly greatly appreciated for any information on getting my hands on this beauty. Here is a link to the sale thread here. Too bad I've missed it. http://www.rwg.cc/members/Oem-Ti-Case-OEM-...-Gu-t94532.html Cheers.
  21. WOW... Awesome collection. A lot of work and dedication. Cheers
