  1. I strongly recommend the Swiss Army Victorinox Dive Master 500 Black Ice. I own the SS bracelet version, and I could testify it's solid as a rock. It's 500 m rated and the lume is great, even the bezel is partially lumed. The Victorinox's rubber strap is top notch, very thick. I borough a couple of pics from WUS.
  2. I read in an old post that the pushers have a different angle, so the gen movt will not fit. Sorry but i could find it again, but I almost sure about this (my memory sometimes amaze me, sometimes let me down )
  3. My friend, great writing, it's very refreshing to read a gen review. At the gen forum is hard to find really good reviews as those in RWG and RG. Thanks for your time. And don't even think on selling this piece, ever. Quartz or Auto, the SMP design is awesome. Enjoy it.
  4. I don't want to be rude or not polite, but due the mother pearl dial, size and strap, to me this is a women watch. Even if you change the strap, the size and the dial will keep there, I don't know your wrist size but 38 is really small if you have 6.75" or more.
  5. Definitely the woman, a big advantage over the watch is regarding the women I don't care if they are gen or fake, but on the watch is a big difference.
  6. My friend, I guess that new puppy is going to have a lot of wrist time
  7. The perfect choice for a F1 weekend.
  8. I am afraid that's gonna happen Black for a sporty look and white for elegance day.
  9. Importr, great pics, thanks. I was planning to order my black version any time soon, but the white dial looks awesome, extremely elegant for a sport watch. Decision, decision, decision... Enjoy your new pair.
  10. I don't own one, but I could tell you what I read from RG. The owners had high pride for this rep, very close to the gen. The dial has a waffler design and the print are top notch. The only flaw commented by some owners is the bezel is a little thinner in the gen, but it's very hard to notice without a side by side comparo. I hope this time I was more helpful.
  11. For today, I am planning to wear my MontBlanc Crono Sport.
  12. Rob, in the first page of this section you could find the same question posted in another thread. If you want to take a look at the review the link is HERE
  13. My friend, thanks for your kind words about my reviews. Sorry, you could not get your rep yet, mine is still waiting to be ordered, I could resit the By-Tor's review of the Ebel 1911 and I ordered it instead of the TAG. Thanks for sharing your thought about this new rep, great writing as usual. The factories moved really fast on this new version, in little more than 6 months from the 41 mm version launch they come with a huge improved version, with the right size and correct rotor. If I though the first version was great, based on your review I could say the new one is awesome. Thanks again.
  14. You could wait a couple of weeks, wearing it daily, maybe the break in period solve the problem. I am not sure if this is myth or not, I has worked sometimes to me in the past. Anyway for the watchsmith is a really easy adjustment and a cheap one. I really don't how much is going to cost you because I regulate my own watches, but for sure is going to be cheap.
  15. Wow, a great piece you put together, nice post, I really enjoy reading it. Thanks for sharing
  16. :D We must sned a formal complaint to Swiss manufacturers, signed for all RWG's members
  17. Based on what I saw in severals members pics, both version are on spot. So, it's up to you which one you must buy.
  18. According with By-Tor review (Link HERE), the BTR is a little bit wider and thicker.
  19. A friend showed me this videos form YouTube a some weeks ago, they are couple of guys performing well know song in very special way.
