I have been a long time fan of the FF, and I was very tempted to pull the trigger on this Quartz rep, but after reading your review, I will hold myself until a better piece is available. Thanks for investing your time in your informative review.

The best rep TH Quartz is without any doubt the Formula 1 Chrono, even the Quartz movt on the rep is exactly the same Swiss movt in the gen. Here you have the link for my review of the Red version if you want to take a look.

I know this is a very basic comment, but did you wash the bracelet upon received it ? As soon I receive a watch with SS bracelet I wash it and a ton of black stuff pours out of it, God knows what it could be. After the bubble bath, comes the oil bath, in your case due the allergies, I recommend baby oil or olive oil. Maybe this help.

You are doing your homework Regarding your question, unfortunately I never buy rep boxes. Even my gen's boxes are in a cardboard box somewhere in the back of the storage room. But don't worry, soon some other member will help you.

Unfortunately, the updated 28K bph does not have the regulator fork, but it's important to pint out that this doesn't mean you could not regulated the movt. It's just the fork missing. To keep things a little complex, as always in our beloved reps world, the updated rotor is not in all 28K bph movt. I just could guess the new rotor is being used for one or some factories, not all of them.

Yes, it just land at Trusty Time HERE. I just realize about the price, I think I was too excited before and skip the price on the dealers' pages. Anyway I'm going to pull the trigger more sooner than later, but well venting is still free.

The rep 2836 is not a bad movt. It's a good choice, even better considering some gen ETA are not that gen as they should.

b16a2, sure I am, the factories read my review and listen to my suggestion for a new version. Based on the good work the factories did with the "reduce" version, for sure this is going to get a high score. But this mean I have to replace my 41 mm version sooner than I think. Well, ups and downs in the rep aficionado's life. It's good to see the factories also correct the rotor (as I pointed in my review)

On this days, AD are struggling to survive, their products are the first to be strike by the crisis. On the bright side, it's the right moment to ask for heavy discounts.

As usual Maxim is on spot. The 21j movt rep are big tell, they scream FAKE all over the place, in a real chrono the running secs is one of the subdial and the center secs hand is for chrono. In the 21j the running secs is the center hand, so it's running all the time. Also the Day-Month-Military time subdials are big let down, in a chrono the min & hours counter are lineup in a vertical position, in the 21j the subdials hands are going to be pointing everywhere. As Maxim mentioned, if you want to save some money, look for a Quartz version, they are not that far from the gens and are much more cheap than the A7750 chrono automatic versions. Let the 21j movt for watch without chrono function, those just with H-M-S. The 21j is workhorse, so it's great on those models and you will save money.
