  1. looks great, Lan... amazing timing...my BB is heading North friday...for some tender love and affection --- and some BLUE lume...gotta be different, ya know?!...the best part of reps is tailoring them and making them your own... and totally agree that the Blackbird is one of THE BEST Breits out there...in my top 3 (or so!), too... and psst -- my brushed BB has nice tabs... 6. well done...it looks great on that strap...nice pix, too if you email Trusty - he'll send you another hand...and then you could always replace it if you want...regarding the bracelet, why not post a FS in the tools/parts forum...will help recoup some of your costs... try out a Maratac or other comparable NATO on your Navi...you'd be surprised how well it looks...and the color combos are endless with your white dial... 9. thanks, ww!...this is such a cool sport watch - the AR on this is simply top-shelf...just a slight tint of blue...and your Explorer was on the discussion block as a potential trade watch this week...Between Lani's BR and your Explorer i'm starting to worry about the fate of my wishlist!... sexy pix, L!...damn you, tho...i turned down Burnzy's BR94-02 just a few days ago...prioritized the swiss railmaster...oh well..."you can't always get what you want".... Up - now's THAT's some hardware...gorgeous mesh...source?... OS - congrats!...one of THE BEST reps...the Slevin was my first highly modded rep...get the Z lume!...wear it well!... *********************** @All - some real beauties today!...R
  10. Al - this is a sweet looking watch...classic styling...where did you source it?...R
  11. love this one...doesn't get a lot of wrist-time, but a pleasure to wear...
  12. many of the reasons i'm into reps have already been spoken... the variety, the challenge, the hunt, the trade, the buy/sell, the learning, the butchering...etc, etc... but to me, every watch has a story...it's source...the discussion on the forum or with friends about it...knowing i own a watch with member "heritage"...helping others with parts, ideas, sourcing - and adjusting their tastes!... yes - it's a hobby...but to many of us, we're part of a crazed community that shares a brotherhood of sorts and a passion... as i type this, i'm wearing a PAM homage watch assembled by Mickey Padge from an old pvd case/dial/movement he picked up and personally distressed, etc...it's mounted on a gorgeous unique Blackbard strap, with a SC buckle from Panera...it's been lumed by Z...this watch covers the US, UK, Turkey, Canada...all these members i know and they know me...and all of them i'd offer my support, parts, opinions, and help...it's not about watches, it's about friendships... every one has a story...and i'm glad i have a library full of stories...
