  10. this is kinda funny.... we're hosting a Super Bowl party tomorrow and my wife is busy readying stuff...since there's a lot of finger foods and such, she re-discovers this old toaster oven that has been sitting in basement storage for what must be 15 years...she figures it could be used to reheat some finger foods while the oven is in use... being warped like most of you guys, i immediately think of Hike and toasting up a dial...i pm our friendly Toastmeister with an appeal for more detail on the process...a handful of minutes later, my phone rings...it's the Lord of Toasting himself...an odd glance comes from my wife, as we discuss the intracacies of toasting dials...excited and confident, i don the bbq apron, my goggles, and oven mit...an hour later, i have a burnt orange dial (pun intended)...and a house that smells of molten plastic...my wife thinks i'm crazy...my kids know!... wonder what would happen if i microwave a timex?!... R-
  11. Hike's my hero!...is he yours?!... Decided to follow his lead with a spare 113 dial...a little toaster oven bake and broil...this will be loaded into a getat pvd 44mm case...step 1 complete... enjoy - R

  16. yes - this is true...but what's cool about this hobby is that - if you have the means - you can try out various watches...many times a watch wears differently on your wrist...yes - there's hype in brands...and we all can get caught up in it sometimes...but its thru trial and error you discover some nice pieces...and brands...some i thought i'd try have stayed, some have long gone...some are surprisingly different once you wear it awhile...
