  1. AD = "Authorized Dealer" for Panerai. Boutiques usually have a supply of them as well. Plus most will ship if ordering by phone.
  2. Why should we care where they come from? Who has them in stock and for how much... at the end of the day, isn't that all that really matters Which factory doesn't tell us anything, the pictures do that.
  3. WTB's are a great way to get the best price at p.com. Guys will email you off-line with a lower asking price, thereby not having to publicly list it and upsetting another seller whose listing his for a higher price in the forum classifieds.
  4. The 390 is a typical example of flippers in waiting. Most wait and see what the trend is in the beginning/what they flip for. Then they wait and see how stable that price is. As soon as the price starts going down a little bit (which it has as more have been released) the rest of them jump in to make their 2K profit while they can. Base/Marina models are the easiest to unload as this time of year collectors are starting to save up for one of the new releases they're lusting for.
  5. Thanks!... nice work on the lever tip reshape. Hope you didn't mind, I should have used your username (added )
  6. Per a lot of H factory CG levers, the tips can be a little too pointy or a little too long or both. Too pointy, too long... both easy fixes.
  7. All of the gen pics are of Brobert's Fiddy (owner of RG) Funny you bring that up. The other day I took another member babola's wristshot of his Noob Fiddy and PS'd in what I hope the CG lever will look like when I replace it with my modded EL lever.
  8. I live in SoCal too and you should be able to pick up a LN 112 for closer to 3700-3900, especially with such a high density of collectors in our region.
  9. Thought I'd BUMP my comparo thread so we have both Noob and H factory watches to compare
  10. Not all 2000 pieces have been released yet. Trading on the secondary market is starting to drop to around $7500 dealers and 6500 private. Awesome post... thanks!
  11. Around 350-450 used LN. You'll need to email him for new pricing. Here are a couple more examples, one a friend sent me for his watch I'm working on, and and another I found at p.com (keep an eye on their Accessories forum as these straps seem to turn up on a regular basis lately). Here are a couple that I found at p.com and got a chance to look at before deciding which to buy.
  12. Agree on the watch, but can't take credit for the pics other than collecting them on my desktop
  13. I've been collecting some Noob 127 pics from various forums and there have been some really nice ones recently. They've been gathering in my gen Fiddy folder, so I thought I'd post a mix of both Noob and gen. Noob rendered movement ain't too bad as can be seen in pics of both. Note... only 4 of the 11 pics are the gen I'm not posting a challenge to find which are which (the 4 gen pics are obvious of course), but wanted to show just how good the new 127 really is. Little flaws abound and luckily some are fixable. I'd have no hesitation putting this one on my wrist straight out of the box.
  14. Yes, he has them in both ss and pvd but you have to ask as they aren't listed.
  15. Here's mine that I ordered... slightly more green in-person. Was hard to capture the color with my iPhone.
  16. You have to contact Dirk directly... his email addys are listed at the bottom of his ad here... http://www.network54.com/Forum/674579/thread/1327492964/last-1327492964/Dirk+Pre-V+Straps+1Oth+Anniversary+%28Stock+Update%29 He can't advertise the Pre-V refurbished buckles, so you have to ask for a quote. Most hides are available as pictured in his ad. Also, you have to specify the length you are looking for.
  17. For sausage dials the H factory does a better application as well as matching the charged lume color. Here is an H factory compared to gen...
  18. Noobs too... it's always been hit and miss with reps (I've even had gens that if you held them up to a strong light source, you could see a faint gap under one of the feet). But the QC appears to be getting better or I've been lucky lately.
  19. Update... of these made only 2 it seems had the yellow-orange dial. The others were black as pictured below. Here's the black dial version, but unlike the 203's dial the sub seconds hand is black...
  20. Drawings were proposals only. The 210 and it's "love it or hate it" dial has been forum fodder for many years. It's well documented and as you see it in my pic is the only version produced. Here is the email address of one of the two 5128-210's (with this dial) in existence. Email him for more info... pasetto.loris@libero.it
  21. We posted at the same time... 210 dial is totally unique color-wise.
  22. This is the 5128-210... only 2 were made and documented...
