  1. I actually found that 7mm tubes have smaller pitch than 0.35mm. I would say in the range of 0.25mm - 0.27mm with 3 mm diameter which is correct. Anyone would confirm that?
  2. Hi mates, My friend is asking me about Seamaster Pro in medium size (Ithink it is ~ 35mm). Has it ever been repped? I don't see it anywhere but have a feeling that I have seen it in the past. Anyone can point me to the asnwer? Thanks a lot
  3. new samsung lcd 40" have been pretty good. they reach contrast ratio of 1:3000 for a mere $1500 and 1:6000 for a close of $2000. i think they have anvanced in delivering a black color, so that's not an issue anymore. Plus LCD will beat plasma in resolution anyday
  4. wasn't he sunshine300???
  5. How about the strap holes, are they positioned properly?
  6. He wouldn't do it, because he is EL. But I am pretty much at awe here, even after he specifically asks not to put anything that identifies it as a rep in the mail, people still do it
  7. You've contributed a lot, and will definetely be missed by many. Hope your problems will be resolved and we will see you here soon. regards -A
  8. It is Landeron, if you are looking for a VJ23 this one wouldn't work...
  9. Happy birthday whatcha getting for it?
  10. Hi and welcome, You ended up in a good place with a lot of info. Don't rush, take your time and resist the urge to buy right away, otherwise you'll end up selling it and buying a better one, or newer one, or just a different style that you realised you like more. On the other hand, may be it's the way to go It's a little more expensive that way, but plenty of fun
  11. I hope PAM reads this, since I PMed him, but he never replied. I got one from his first run and would like to upgrade if the offer still stands. PM me. New ones look pretty good.
  12. Ok, here is a pic. I didn't manage to take mine, so I borrowed this one, but it looks similar. On it you can see clamps with screws # 1 & 2. I don't have those on mine. I was wandering what screws # 3 & 4 are for? I can rotate the movement inside the case but it doesn't move even slightly out, makes me think something is still holding it. Any thoughts guys?
  13. I don't really see any. There are couple threaded holes but screws in them are missing. I'll get a picture if I can
  14. Hello, have a couple of questions if anyone knows. how does one take the VJ72 movement out of the case? Is there a locking mechanism that keeps it in place? I seem to not be able to take it out, stem is out. Is there a locking of the dial to the movement or it would come off after hands are taken off? Thanks for taking time to reply.
  15. I guess noone has a knowledge To take a retaining ring off, Tribal, I used a sturdy blade, just go around and pry little by little. It takes time but by going evenly around eventually it'll come off. I'll try to take pictures when I do it next time. Now it is on, but didn't completely go back flush with the case. There is still some space left, if anyone has an idea how to press it to the end, please let me know. Best
  16. I'll take one for 183 case based homage if that becomes a viable idea. Can't take measurements, sorry guys.
  17. thanks avitt, that's what I thought. Ours is hallow, but NOT folded, Ubi's is folded (to the contrary of the ebay picture actually).
