  1. WOW! that is awesome! well stolen! haha just one question, isn't that a relative modern movement for that old vintage watch? I have seen these bond subs with another rolex in it....correct me if i'm wrong... =)
  2. omg....transformer!!! you reckon they will introduce the ones that combine? man that was my favorite toy for so long....i hope they have Defensor - the police car, ambulance, fire truck, helicoptor and police bike - that combines to create this massive robot.... this is a must see
  3. wrong size and different rotating system altogether. helium valve is more intricate with these new ones, but i think water will still seep through if its open.
  4. quick answers to your questions 1. genuine clasp will include the divers extension. 2. bezel will not fit.
  5. Ok guys, I have just completed this model. I just serviced the movement as well and its running strong. The bezel numbers and appropriate numbers have been lumed - I'm going to purchase some Superlum and do it right, I will update again when i've done that. Ok so what is it made of/from? Replica case and dial Replica hands and crown Genuine 552 movement The seconds hand was made by myself - it was a combination of different hands to get the right shape and length - i think its pretty close. The '9' and '6' were altered to make it look more original, the rep dial had the 9 and 6 closed up, it should be opened. I will be adding a gasket some time next week. Anyway, enough talking - lets get to the pictures. Please let me know what you guys think, especially Ubi - who has the genuine version of this. Thanks for viewing! and one more shot with my current model Omega GMT white dial. I couldn't get a hold of the night shot so sorry R1cco, I will try again when i have a better camera....or maybe its just my poor abilities... =( anyway, leave comments please, thanks!
  6. look on ebay - there are aftemarket black bezels for the SMP. Another method is to request a bezel from the dealers on this board.
  7. nice! 6th generation I assume. The pearl is very good.
  8. Vric - Check my TAG Heuer Click here It is based off the same specs as yours. Although my case an dial are genuine - but I fitted a ETA 251262 movement in. Fits straight in and is the same movement as the genuine one. $75USD for the movement - 1/10
  9. genuine omega watch. If its a SMP with a with a white dial BUT with SWORD HANDS - then its fake. Omega did make a white faceed SMP with skeleton hands - like you've pictured.
  10. funny thing is by-tor is that the pearl on that model can only be taken out from the bezel from the inside, so your brother must have either cracked it or soemthing for it to fall out... again like everyone else have said.....thats how a watch should be worn.
  11. great review! From my experience with servicing genuine automatic TAG Heuers, the most common movement is a standard ETA 2824 with TAG heuer insigma stamped on the rotor. There has been ETA 2892's placed in too, but from those pictures, that would be a ETA 2824. Hope that clears it up.
  12. I used to be in sydney and provided services for members here. But i've moved to the U.S.A now. There are rep friendly watchmakers, but you will need to look around. Worse case scenario is that they decline their services, nothing will happen to your watch.
  13. wow...... fantastic watch Randy. I have to get my hands on one of these vintage beauties one day. my batch of Seamaster and speedmaster just doesnt complete me yet. =(
  14. please read around and do some search - if you bothered to look at the omega section you will see that quite a few members have put in genuine parts into the blue SMP - TripleHD and myself just to name two. please don't just sit here and ask ask ask, do some research. good luck with your quest for the 25318000 - one of the best replicas out there.
  15. with old magazine paper? hate to say this...but you may want to look around the site and see how other members have attempted to mod their watches, as i feel that this could go wrong........... my best advice is to just double sided sticky tape to hold the dial down to the movement THEN use double side tape to hold the plastic spacer ring to the dial, that should secure everything together
  16. Heywood, may i ask what you did to both the Seamaste 300 and the Gold airking? thanks! they look fantastic!
  17. Randy: NEVER SELL THOSE DAYTONAS! they are so good...you must pass it on to your kids just like they say with the PATEK PHILIPPE ads: "You don't actually ever own a Patek, you just look after it for the next generation" =)
  18. hahaha.....I don't think anyone is going to give you any suggestions apart from buying ones with the correct markings on them. engraving computerized lettering on metal isn't something that everyone has the ability to do, nor have the equipment to do it with.
  19. have you considered perhaps purchasing a caseback opener? try duct tape wrapped around your hand and pressing down on the caseback and twist. BTW....I'm a little worried that you do mods to your watch yet don't have basic tools.....
  20. Three of my favorites - Blue Seamaster, Black Seamaster, Limited Edition 007 Seamaster. All have major mods - including genuine movements in all of them. =)
  21. maybe you have not asked properly since I know Trusty (andrew) sells the older asian 7750 model to me....
  22. these prototype cases look ugly and they aren't even regarded as AUTHENTIC Tag Heuer cases as they weren't even finalised and sold to the public. I've seen alot of these come up on ebay...as far as i'm concern, if they didnt make it to the shelves...they aren't Tag Heuers.... Don't waste your time - these don't have much collectibility....nor value
  23. nooooooo Jon the boy!!! you gave it away too sooonnnnn..... you're no fun anymore... =(
