In my house, the PAM49 (with great straps) and the 38mm Chanel J12 (with a little bling) are both quite popular with the feminine element.

I'm waiting on a white dial, will share as soon as I find out.

What color lume did you do? I want to have mine done, the stock color is too green... There was a post last week regarding carbon fibre straps, take a look for it. As I recall the consensus was that the Don strap was great quality for the money.

For relatively good price:quality, I suggest looking at the VC Regulateur and JLC Reserve de Marche. Put on a nice leather strap and you are on your way....

Holy smokes, not to threadcrap but that VC picture is certainly pulling at my heartstrings as well.

Another vote for quality over quantity. There is such an enormous difference in feel between the high end and lower end reps... my 201a, HBB and FM Conquistador get far more wrist time than my VC Regulateur, JLC RDM and PAM253. Heck, I like those three reps better than my gens - they feel more solid!

PAM049 with a couple of soft, colored straps. IMHO still a fantastic looking watch for the ladies... Mrs. Drop seems to really like matching strap color to her shoes

I chose the 'correct tick mark' poison for the 253. The over-green lume color actually bother me more than the crystal. Honestly, with such high quality reps out there like the HBB, Davidsen PAMs, PO Ult, etc. it pales in comparison - just doesn't get time on my wrist anymore.

I had a bezel screw fall out, dealer immediately offered to send a replacement.

Horologie, in the Venetian, is a nice little shop. Maybe not 'cheap' but their starting offers were at ~20% discount. Let us know if you find any gems in the pawn shops, that'd be interesting
