  1. While the watch is nice, it's the recent pattern in (apparent) quality per realease which I'm getting excited about. I can't wait to see what else is in store for us this year.
  2. Mine shipped already as well. If all this is a classic 'scarcity' marketing gimmick, then I suppose I'll have to thank Josh for inspiring me to make the purchase versus dawdling. (Asumming it's as nice as hoped)
  3. Wow, to think two days ago I was perfectly happy with my Rolex collection and moments away from springing for a PP Nautilus and new 183H. Adaptability seems to be key in this hobby - I'm in!
  4. Having trouble with three, the following four are quite popular with the better half of my family: PAM 049 Pasha FM Conquistador Chanel J12 (men's size)
  5. Sweet wrist shots - color me green!
  6. My initial infatuation significantly cooled last year, but now I find myself coming back around - but with a stronger leaning to Radiomirs and colored dials. It's a funny cycle. Makes me glad I didn't buy a gen PAM until my tastes matured.
  7. Sorry for the different angle, but you kept the 210? What are your impressions?
  8. Crown guard looks a little thin as well... but altogether not enough flaws to really tempt me should he release an anthracite dial.
  9. I've been following this topic for a while, fingers crossed. But I took a quick look at the updated 088 pics and, it seems to me the seconds hand is too thin and short, and the minute hand a tad too short. It also looks like the numbers aren't close enough to the outer edge of the dial (but this is a common complaint across other models). Maybe it's a camera angle issue - anyone else? Really dissapointed his 089 is the fantasy blue dial. I would have had no problem with these small nits in exchange for a solid, anthracite dial!
  10. I agree - C&S have some nice looking watches. I haven't seen any reps. Do they still use humidors as watch boxes?
  11. Wow, the Safari looks great. Thanks for the pics... I am more sorely tempted now than ever.
  12. OK, I am in dire need of a new PAM and the 210 and 232 are calling my name. That said, there has been a lot of back-and-forth on these two models and I was wondering if anyone has the straight scoop on a couple of issues: 1. Does anyone know if Davidsen is upgarding his 210 dial by moving the indicies cloer to the outside edge? The 232 looks great in that respect... and I think the stock hands would look better if this is fixed (i.e. not too long looking relative to the numbers) 2. What's the final consensus on the 'darker brown' 232 dial, is it still falling short? Much appreciated!
  13. The little notch on the end of my springbar snapped off of my FM Conquistador bracelet... does anyone know where I can pick-up a replacement? Thanks.
  14. Try to go to a Coach Outlet store if one is nearby - not very expensive. Most rep bag are of higher end brands (e.g. Prada, etc) and these reps cost almost the same as gen Coach!
  15. Thank you both very much! That spring definitely has a tendency to pop out - if that's not the problem I'll try the dial washer. Now, it's just a pity I have to buy a new dial to fix those darn hour markers... at least I got a good deal on the watch
  16. Hi there. Replaced my 3717 day and date wheels but I'm still having trouble with the day wheel... the spring and click tab seem OK, but the day wheel disenegages after a day change or two - leaving me in between days in the window. Most frustrating as everything seems lined-up fine. Any advice? Also my stem feels too short, does anyone know the appropriate part number for the replacement? Finally, the darn 3 and 6 dial indicies are cracked. Has anyone devised a fix for these or know of a good replacement (marshmallow maybe? ) Cheers!
