  1. You're just bitter
  2. I was originally going to get a PAM127 rep, but I got thinking with all the problems with the current watch. No sapphire crystal back available (the other ones won't fit this rep), and the correct front domed AR-coated sapphire crystal has to be bought from davidsenjpn, as well as getting the cannon pinion fixed. This will all add up... maybe half the price of the RXW MM20 I think. Now with the RXW watch, it is a more accurate reproduction of the watch the PAM127 was supposed to be based on. It has more of the cushion-type case with the correct curvature, good sandwich dial luminosity and no problems with cannon pinions. It is also accurate in that it has the anti-magnetic properties of the original watch and big numbers and similar hands. I think it also has a domed sapphire crystal and closed case back like the original. It comes in a presentation box with straps and a screwdriver and seems much more accurate. It is also water-resistant and serviced and tested through quality control. Now, I'm wondering, should I get the PAM127 rep, or save up for the RXW ? I'd like a PAM with the engraved movement as well, but which other PAMs have this that I could get it in? Is there a Radiomir black seal with that movement perhaps ? And finally, where can I get the RXW ? Thanks for everyone that helps!
  3. That's when you justify the costs and design and build the watch in such a way it is difficult to replicate easily. A simple example is the original that the Panerai PAM127 and RXW Marina Militare are based on. The PAM127 is not exact and has a more mass-produceed case which is easy to replicate. Difficult ones could be titanium and gold models (more expensive to manufacture), as well as different movements such as the new Panerai movement. The more complex a watch is, the harder it will be to replicate. If one was hand-made, it may be even tougher to make.
  4. I love pickled onion monster munch!

  6. And the sickness begins
  7. Nice one, and I love the watch too, may have to give the Avenger Seawolf Titanium and the PAM036 a rest and wear the IWC GST again
  8. And on top of that I want a Doxa Sub 750T ... I saw a Sharkhunter 750T but it was gone anyway (all on Timezone)... very tempting but no money I like their orange rubber straps for it too. Oh 187 wherefore are thou ?
  9. I hope not, I am flat broke now that my hours are cut, so I guess I am more patient than most here...
  10. Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
  11. I'm in for a good quality one. I would prefer the original one shown rather than a chrono, if the genuine is only with seconds at 12... i'd rather not have modified movements and take an ETA.
  12. I can't afford both and would always be unhappy with it I think, knowing I could have, should have got the 7753 version. If the 188 and 196 can be with a 7753 I don't see why the 187 can't be the same.
  13. This also means I still have no PAM187 as I'm not, as yet, prepared to get the Asian 7750 version. I guess I have to continue being patient!
  14. Does this take a year to make?
  15. Have a good one.
  16. Is this normal Croatian behaviour ? link Mods, please move this to off-topic forum, I posted it in the wrong forum after following a link to Dealer Review.
  17. I was a big fan as a kid, had lots of the toys, most of the cartoons videotaped off TV, and hundreds of comics - which my mother gave away one time when I wasn't home ... I've since been emotionally scarred for life
  18. I've asked, still waiting on further developments...
  19. Would these screws (from either source) be much better, and longer lasting or suffer the same problems?
  20. I'd be interested in a metal spacer for this too.
  21. Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....
  22. The other one you'll want is PAM192 in genuine titanium with lemania "venus copy" handwind movement. I don't think the old ones are made any more. New ones are bead blasted to give a titanium look. Anyone know where to get a titanium bracelet for it? Also, hope an Omega SMP or SMP chrono is made in titanium. The chrono with the pink gold and titanium is kinda different too.
  23. I got a white dial version from Silix and it cost much less than 800! Go ask them, you may be surprised As for the seawolf, I have one already, it's out of production apparently... if you find one get it, not many genuine titanium made reps around nowadays.
  24. there can be only one... rwg.cc
  25. does 212 have an AR coated sapphire crystal? I remember someone was trying to do this earlier. I think some dealers have it with sapphire crystal now though.
