  1. Where'd you get this blue one, I like it
  2. Well the Tag Golf watch is the only one I've ever ordered from him. Took longer to ship than EL (probably the quickest) or silix but fine nonetheless
  3. No idea, but at the time I got mine, Josh's price (with box set) was comparable to Paul's and even silix couldn't beat that price!
  4. i think joshua and silix-prime have these...
  5. They're grrr-eat arent they? My brother sent me an email joke with all the different types of cats listening to music
  6. Reminds me a bit of those funky Zenith Defy (?) watches. They all look outlandish but somehow draw me to them. Cannot be more than a passing feeling...!
  7. That's what I'm hoping for. Hopefully at a reasonable price.
  8. An update on PAM187 with 7753. I haven't heard about the version from the people I was talking to but came across information that Watchonpo are working on one. I think kruzer00 takes credit for this info. I think the hold-up at that end is that they are trying to sort out the copper covered bezel markers. I would have thought they just replace with solid stainless steel, screwed into the bezel?
  9. I can't seem to access http://www.silixwatch.com/ it keeps asking for Helm login and password, and this is linked off silix-prime!
  10. I've looked for it myself and I'm in the EU. Any advice as to where I could get one ? I know EL had some before but no idea who does now. Maybe silix ? Thanks!
  11. This is the first time I've seen this thread. I have a Precious Time YachtMaster from the start of the year... if it's fitting in there I definitely would like one. If the lume used is SuperLuminova, great, if not, I'd prefer to send it off to someone like finepics to do it properly
  12. I've seen some dealers are now selling this rep with a domed sapphire crystal. I don't know if it's AR-coated (I doubt it). They also have the correctly coloured hands now - black coloured hands for the minutes, hours, seconds (subdial), and minutes recorder (chrono subdial). The chrono seconds hand (big seconds hand) is still silver as it should be. The back crystal may ot may not be sapphire, the information around the caseback is not all there, and the font of Officine Panerai on the movement does not look right. There are also no blue screws, and the dial still has the tick - marks on the outer edge and not going inwards (like the manual wind version). Also, the chrono pushers are brushed and not polished, though I would imagine that is the least of the flaws. Still a nice watch though! The domed sapphire crystal is available on both the Asian 7750 and the ETA 7750 versions that I've seen.
  13. I'd like to know too, my white dial one has silvr hands, not sure if that is correct though.
  14. Any advice is welcome... you can post it on here or email me (PMs are full again!). Thanks for all the help everyone.
  15. Or they are selling enough of the current reps that they don't need to perfect it for the (relative) handful of sales they would get from us on the boards. After all, there are many who may believe an idealwatches rep is perfect as they describe and not notice all the minute defects that us nut-jobs do.
  16. i think kanerich lives there. i'd also like to find a japanese friend i went to university with. couldn't find him when another university friend was getting married
  17. Maybe someone will come out with a corduroy strap sometime
  18. Agreed, I cannot justify the amount of money a genuine handwind Pam would cost. I'd love the genuine PAM192, but on my low pay there's no chance. I do have a genuine Zenith El Primero though, and that movement is not getting repped any time soon.
  19. Read the following information at this RXW link. It talks about the differences between the PAM127 and the RXW MM20. The other thing I'm thinking is to get a PAM217 if I decide to save up for a RXW. I bought a PAM127 with the new working swan-neck movement, but I tested the front and back crystal and found they were mineral. I used an electronic crystal tester which gave definitive results. I returned the watch and got a refund. The way I see it, getting a PAM127 and then upgrading it with the following: Davidsen PAM127 AR coated domed crystal = $85 no back crystal available, only the mineral crystal that comes with it cannon pinion fix relume (close to $100 with the current exchange rate) Davidsen's PAM127 hands. It all adds up to $500 or more I think, and that without a sapphire crystal back. Any thoughts after reading the RXW link ?
  20. The one I got from Precious Time at the start of the year had the fat hands.
