  1. Great watch, I'll get one someday
  2. Wasn't that a joke? Daclothe was a long-time member on RWG1 before having to change his name.
  3. Good idea...! Got a price on it ?
  4. His ad doesnt say Swiss or ETA anywhere does it? Maybe it's the new Chinese Unitas with working swan neck ?
  5. I would expect, if we're lucky, the bottom price could be $600, but more likely towards $750. I definitely want it, and have been saying I'd take this with a 7753 ever since Watchonpo had it (and ever since I got my 7753 PAM188 and 196!). cwai02, if you can get this with ETA 7753, can we all piggyback onto your deal? I'm sure the dealer would like more business
  6. How many would definitely get this PAM187 with an ETA 7753 movement (ie. working date adjuster) at a price of over $500? I know I'm waiting on this one, but how many others? Maybe if there is the demand, enough people want it, and maybe we can do a group buy through a dealer? Please post here and let me know if you are interested.
  7. No idea about FastPay or those things. Couldn't UK users just deposit money into a UK bank account and put in a reference as their name? That would have no fees on either side and be quickest. Giving refunds would be problematic though. PayPal is the easiest, and I admit has led to impulse buys, which some dealers will lose out on. WU charged me 25GBP (almost 48USD) last time I used it. I've tried online WU with Paul and they refused the payment on a 159USD Omega PO! I had to go to the shop to do it which is not as easy or convenient, especially when the shop is closed after you finish work! Moneybookers' problem is that you can only send a certain amount in a certain timeframe and then wait for that time frame to elapse before sending out the maximum you can again. The fees are also higher than PayPal. I know silix take credit cards, maybe that could be done too ?
  8. I'd be interested in Avenger Seawolf/Chrono Avenger datewheels too, if it ever goes ahead.
  9. I want titanium too! Not just brushed/bead-blasted SS to look like titanium/tantalium.
  10. Hmmm I'm not sure, I'd like to support Kewell as he plays for Liverpool... but then again I have an Italian defender in my fantasy league team.... The others have 2 italians so maybe better they get knocked out and lost more points I just want a good game.
  11. By the way, which one is $150? The Asian automatic? Or the Asian 7750b1 automatic? And where to get them from. Even silix don't have the Asian 7750b1 version at $150 i think.
  12. I haven't thought about the PAM184/5 because I can't think of what movement it would be? If we're lucky, maybe a modified ETA but which one? I think it'll be an Asian automatic, maybe even an Asian 7750 modified to have a GMT arm like the ETA 2836s, and then there are two crowns - I would think one is for the GMT and the other for the usual?
  13. Never been able to get onto RWI when I wanted to register. I guess I'll just stick with this and the occasional browse on TRC and RWG1.
  14. EL has an Arktos too, looks good. Only difference between TTK's and his seems to be the NSEW on the bezel is bigger. Maybe someone can supply the bezel for those who already bought EL's if it bothers them ?
  15. I doubt we'll see an ETA version as that would most likely use a 7750 or 7753, which would add a lot on the price. I think the next generation of ARKTOS is out whti bigger NSEW indicators from TTK. He's said in the past he makes sure they the markers stay on the bezel with industrial strength epoxy.
  16. Tudor watches use Oyster cases and standard ETA movements.
  17. I can't, I don't have a RWI account. It was always down whenever I tried to register, I couldn't be bothered in the end.
  18. Nice pics and everything.... but I was hoping for sql_pl or rocket style photos With fully grown beautiful women of course before someone misconstrues my words.....!
  19. Breitling Avenger Seawolf titanium.
