  1. Also, a problem with reps will be that the clasp will be plated ... so is the genuine, I think. The genuine crown is also plated, as solid gold is too soft for long-term use. The rep bezels are probably plated while the genuine maybe solid. There was a guy on ebay that sold aftermarket parts that are solid gold... the endlinks of his band was plated though. Solid gold bezel was available I think.
  2. Lucky they don't use the true billion of a million million, and have dumbed it down to 100 million....
  3. Is it just me, or has all of EuroTimez's under $500 ceramic bezel HBBs all but disappeared ??
  4. Also, we know there *are* some rare reps with solid gold - the FM 18k Casablanca and TwoTone's two-tone Santos 100 with solid gold bezel spring to mind...
  5. I paid quite a lot to luckyyy (when he was still in business) for a MBW sub with solid gold midlinks.... they do exist but I'd think they are not easy to get, you'd have to test each one. PreciousTime had different ones with solid gold midlinks for a while before his supplier started giving him plated ones and some were not happy. He'd had a similar test to show the solid gold... but you really need to test each watch to make sure.
  6. i guess u'd better go for the hbb ceramic rep.. or even better , the timewalker 7753 rep
  7. I guess I forgot that part I remember his collector status was revoked and his section hidden, but not why... so I guess he got luckyyy ...
  8. Looks like King has changed the prices on her site.... damn I probably should have tried ordering through the automated system first!
  9. Yep... no rlx attempting to be "hip"...
  10. Already repped but not available from our collectors, only Watchonpo ... when are we going to get the PAM194 in titanium instead of SS? It's not much more in price from Watchonpo... The genuine is titanium, and as some may remember, I like titanium What ever happened to Watchonpo's English division, etaworldgoods?
  11. And funnily enough, a lot of Arsenal fans have told me they'd prefer Barca, then Liverpool to win the Champions League.... they probably won't watch a man u - Chelsea final... I'm not sure I would either ! People say the Liverpool - Chelsea semis were boring... but did anyone see last year's FA Cup final ?
  12. No just copying the Rio's World Cup Windups... which were pretty childish too... But if you have any, go ahead and add them. An Arsenal fan sent me that one via text message
  13. That's a good one Narikaa
  14. I'm not counting on anything yet... I have higher hopes with this semi.... but then again, Ballack is finally playing up to his ability. Petr Cech will be back too. I'll just quietly enjoy it and hope for the win It's a pity man ure have a bye to the final... Barca is really poor this year, wouldn't surprise me if Schalke 04 (Schalke!) manage to knock them out... they are so goal-shy though. Watch Rafinha, their right-back, apparently the deal for him to move to LFC in the summer is all done. I was hoping for Daniel Alves but he's so expensive. Hoping for Ricardo Quaresma too Talk is Pennant off to Newcastle, and Milan of all teams are interested in Harry Kewell on a free. If anyone will get him back into shape, it's them.
  15. Yep, hoping for a CL (though it won't be easy!)... if that means beating Chelsea and man ure in the final, does that make LFC the best club in England ? It won't be easy though... Commiserations to Arsenal... contributed to a great game, pity there had to be a winner... hope you hammer the Mancs this weekend on the way to winning the League title
  16. In Saudi Arabia an Everton fan, a Liverpool fan and a Man Utd were all sharing a smuggled crate of beer. All of a sudden Saudi police rushed in and arrested them. The mere possession of alcohol is a severe offence in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming the beer, they were sentenced to death. However, after many months and with the help of very good lawyers, they were able to successfully appeal their sentence down to life imprisonment. By a stroke of luck, it was a Saudi national holiday the day their trial finished, and the extremely benevolent Sheikh decided they could be released after receiving just 20 lashes each of the whip. As they were preparing for their punishment, the Sheikh suddenly said: "It's my first wife's birthday today, and she has asked me to allow each of you one of you a wish before your whipping." The Man U fan was first in line (he had drunk the least), so he thought about this for a while and then said: Please tie a pillow to my back." This was done, but the pillow only lasted 10 lashes before the whip went through. The Man U fan had to be carried away bleeding and crying with pain when the punishment was done. The Everton fan was next up (he almost finished a half-can), and after watching the scene, said: "Please fix two pillows on my back." However the two pillows only lasted 15 lashes before the whip went through. The Everton fan was carried away crying and vowing to win next year. The Liverpool fan was the last one up (he had finished off the crate), but before he could say anything, the Sheikh turned to him and said: "You are from a beautiful part of the world, your city has some of the best and most loyal football fans in the world. For this, you may have two wishes!" "Cheers mate, your Most Royal and Merciful highness", The Liverpool fan replies. "In recognition of your kindness, my first wish is that you give me not 20, but 100 lashes." "Not only are you an honourable, handsome and a powerful man, you are also very brave," the Sheik says with an admiring look on his face. "If 100 lashes is what you desire, then so be it. And your second wish? What is it to be?" the Sheik asks. "Please tie the Man Utd fan to my back."
  17. Rio Ferdinand goes to the doctor. The doctor tells him, "I've got some good news and some bad news." Rio asks for the bad news, the doctor replies, "You're gran is dead." "What's the good news?" a mournful Rio asks. The doctor replies, "Wayne Rooney can't [censored] her anymore." Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
  18. good service, quality and low prices? silix and narikaa.
  19. I've asked again, pointing out watchmark's site and been told they are from different factories, and that both are available. If I want the $455 one I can have it, but it's not the TUIGA version...
  20. And there are lots of cells getting lots of results. The calculation function on the sheet will be disabled and attached to a button to re-calculate.
  21. It's mainly on a report. There is user entry for the time period (for example), and then the whole book is refreshed, and it will pull all the data off. This can then be printed off, pdf'd etc and sent to the relevant people. Previously this was done using SQL.Request, but that's disappeared
  22. It's in Excel... I'm trying to make a function so that other users can pull sums directly from the database. This will help in the production of automatic reports. It's very frustrating !
  23. Apologies for putting it in the wrong forum... I'm getting really frustrated with some visual basic. Microsoft's ODBC.XLA doesn't work for Excel 2003 (so no more sql.request function - if I could get the source code though...), and I am trying to use a VisualBasic function to get data from a SQL Server. The data is summed, so there is only one result. I have tried making a macro to put it on the worksheet but functions only let you affect the cell you are calling it from. I'm not sure how to get the data without putting it on the worksheet. Any ideas what I can do ? *note: some of the work below is edited out, eg. the connect string for the connection, with passwords etc Sub mcrImportExt() Dim sql As String Dim connect As String sql = "SELECT ISNULL(SUM(amount),0.000) FROM table1 WHERE period >= 200701 AND period <= 200712" connect = "ODBC;DRIVER=SQL;SERVER=RWG-HelpMe!;UID=RWG1;PWD=RWG2;APP=Microsoft Office 2003;WSID=RWGisGreat" ' With ActiveSheet.QueryTables.Add(Connection:=connect, Destination:=Range("A1")) .CommandText = (sql) .FieldNames = True .RowNumbers = False .FillAdjacentFormulas = False .PreserveFormatting = True .RefreshOnFileOpen = False .BackgroundQuery = True .RefreshStyle = xlInsertDeleteCells .SavePassword = False .SaveData = True .AdjustColumnWidth = True .RefreshPeriod = 0 .PreserveColumnInfo = True .Refresh BackgroundQuery:=False End With End Sub Function GetAmt() Dim Amt Call mcrImportExt GetAmt = Worksheets("sheet1").Range("A1") End Function
  24. I'm aware of the history, thanks for the warning. Seems to have good deals lately in the trade section from what I can see. I'm just seeking advice at the moment on Watchonpo - unless you mean Watchonpo is the one I should be wary of.
