  1. I prefer the older slower beat Asian 7750 because of the hand sizes not being an issue - a simple one to one swap with an ETA 7750 was simple. Not so with the current Asian 7750 I would prefer to get the watches WITHOUT a movement and just put an ETA 7750 once it arrives
  2. Perhaps the replica watch case is not really 1:1, or perhaps it needs access from the back where the stamped "screws" are.
  3. Damn... he has some money of mine More importantly, I hope he recovers from everything that has happened to him, any issues on here will sort itself out in time after that.
  4. If you mean trhe rep, it was using a very cheap asian movement even though the ads said ETA 2892, and then subsequently Asian ETA 2892. This movement does not even have a passing resemblance to an ETA 2892 or even the Seagull ST-18 (according to The Zigmeister).
  5. Before forum member V got into Pams? Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
  6. He also has a cold that is going around here at the moment. I've struggled with it this week myself, and missed 5-a-side soccer today because of it Hope I'll be ok for the tournament on Saturday! Give finepics a little slack, he's still recovering from everything that's gone on in his life. I have a feeling he may be sick of it all and just stop modding after he's done with anything outstanding. I guess we all have to come back to the real world.
  7. Trish Stratus ? I don't wanna share her!
  8. Apologies to kenberg if this takes away sales ... sash has the MB cufflinks as well, and doesnt have to ship in volume as far as I know. Otherwise look up ken's other items and get a bunch of stuff.
  9. Screw the PAMs and the MBW AP ROO, I'm trading in for one of these. Maybe I'll live in it too. Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
  10. I hope you won a lot of money out in LV at least
  11. That works for home use but at work I get this message: Damn work filtering! Next time, it is also easier to have a link that can be copied and pasted into a browser.
  12. That's a sad story And you lost a GENUINE Omega Speedmaster - even worse Hopefully you can claim that on insurance after producing the box and receipts etc, but they may say it was due to your own negligence, but I wish you could luck. It doesn't hurt to try. If I travel, it is usually with 2 watches, so when I go out and fly back, I wear one on each wrist. Can't forget it that way.
  13. That's an expensive rep! The rep ($400-600) plus the cost of the ETA 7750 plus the cost of the workmanship
  14. Who's Jenna Jamieson? Did she win an Oscar or a Grammy ?
  15. Everyone should follow Corgi's taste in watches and follow the Great One, and move to Texas too.
  16. I've been thinking. I wasn't interested in HBB due to the Asian 7750b1 copy movement and higher price. Is this movement such a good copy? If the dealers say that the Swiss ETA 7750 movement won't fit (or work) in the HBB case, is this movement really a copy of the Swiss ETA 7750? If the Asian 7750b1 is a copy of the Swiss ETA 7750, it stands to reason that they should be interchangeable, and that it should be possible to have a version with Swiss ETA 7750. Any thoughts?
  17. I'd like to know too. I have a dial but not he clasp. Can the small SS link also be replaced?
  18. Love the brightness to the lume. Not to be a critic, it appears that the lume went over the metal surrounds of the markers. Not sure if it looks difference once dried though.
  19. I'm pretty sure there was a tie-in for "Live and Let Die". The watch was featured prominently at the end and is listed as a gadget in the official guide. Most people remember that Bond has also worn Omega and Seiko, but not everyone remembers Breitling (the one with the geiger counter?)
