I have 42.5mm orange bezel PO. Very nice and not too sub-like with this bezel I have a spare black bezel bought from an auction site that apparently is a 1:1 exact copy, but like the orange bezel too much. Have the uPO 45.5mm with black bezel and orange numerals which goes well with the black rubber strap and orange stitching. Or the normal PO 22mm rubber strap

I am in Europe / UK and may be getting something from silix and may host it, but have no idea of shipping fees outside of the UK.

You're right - there are two keepers, and one is always covering those numbers, so no one would even notice even if you took it off and showed them the watch. It is almost fixed in place by the "tabs" on the side. Only an Omega AD would look at it if they wanted to replace a damaged strap!

I can confirm my 22mm one has "HAF" and the 20mm verion has "GAF" - both gens. The 20mm has a number that is one number less- 98000144. For both, the top of the 6 looks partially cut off just like docblackrock's.

The genuine PO rubber strap with 20mm lug width fits on the 4th generation PO rep. I have mine almost permanently on it. I've also tried it on the double ridged genuine seamaster strap, but wasn't happy with it. The genuine straps are made of a different rubber composition that doesnt seem to pick up dust as easily. Conversely the Doxa rubber strap seems to pick up dust, but that could be because of the grooves on it. On second look, I think it is the grooves, the back doesn't have any dust. The genuine PO strap with 22mm lug width also fits the "Ultimate" PO 45.5mm. Silix have a rep 22mm rubber strap out, but too late for me The genuine straps seem to have much stronger/solid ends that attach to the case which seems to prevent it flexing away from the watch and leaving it snugly fit to the case.

I'm a movement freak, and being one of the poorer members of the board, I have to pick and choose, and I can't afford to buy potential paperweights. I nwant something that will last for years and years, and a movement like this - especially at the price these go for - does not engender confidence in my mind.

I believe at least one modder will take care of the dust for you and blow it off the dial.

I can't believe this! I have a JimmyFu case and a skeleton handwind movement that i was going to get put together. What's surprising is that this has turned up. Why? I was going to get it PVD'd like this as well: the watch case PVD'd (including the display back) except the crown, crown lever and bezel. The crystal here looks good and I'd like one in sapphire for mine. Just need a good superlumed non-pam labelled dial, and a new palpatine crown.

Call up an AD and say you are buying it for a friend as a gift after he bought a genuine 2nd hand but the strap did not come with it.

I think The Zigmeister had a look at someone's and saw that a genuine ETA 2892 movement would not fit, which also means that the seagull copy would also not fit. If it's no problem, I wouldn't mind it with ETA 2824 or 2836 (only difference is an additional day wheel I think) but I don't know if anyone has tried. That would be worthwhile though. Pity about the stamped screws on the back though, that also put me off this particular watch

I've been to games in England and only had bad experiences at Millwall. I've never heard something like this before, but I am understanding the Rangers-Celtic thing a little more. Hope someone like jonthebhoy (Celtic fan) or TTK (Rangers fan) can illuminate me on this matter.
