  1. Yes that's the best V2 version. The DLC is much lighter than the PVD on the V1/V3, and the pearl is a different shape too. Wear it well it's a stunning watch!
  2. It is a beautiful watch with minimal flaws, but the one that really bugs me is the outer casing being too wide. The genuine's is very thin.

To sell in the normal sales section you need to upgrade (which costs less than 3USD per month) To sell in the auction/fundraiser you need to have been a member here for more than 60 days. I have just noticed you have only just joined us, so that is why you can't post in these latter two sections. Try upgrading.

5...4...3...2...1...Goodbye In all seriousness, you can't post a sales thread like this, see the sales section for the rules. Whilst you're at, it remove this post/edit it.
  6. Id love to see some pictures of this on Kings site, their pictures show the wathes much better. I want to see this double AR claim. It looks like its the same case as the old one, and has design characteristics of the UPO.....so surely the UPO should come with Double AR pretty soon too if they are indeed from the same factory!? I'm going to hold out for the Speedy on this one, no date to be sunken, and what a classic!
  7. This and the America's Cup would be pretty much spot on with the fixed sub dial position. If the movement is good, then this is a great development!
  8. haha, they are minor flaws, but it's sometimes the niggly ones that make all the difference! I think in the flesh this will look pretty good. My GO SS was about teh same price, and factory pictures did it no justice. I have a feeling that for the money this could be quite a good purchase for IWC fans!
  9. What are the indexes? The main things I can see are; 1) The numbers are too big 2) The crown is too big 3) The hand stack is too big 4) The minute hand is too short 5) The hands look to be convex, whereas the replica's look flat 6) The lugs are straight, whereas the genuine's are curved
  10. Rep Gen http://www.jpc8118.com/000000iwpv10002-por...498-p-5855.html
  11. Im always using Timeshops. He made a mistake in sending me the wrong Tag Heuer F1 the other week, but he was very prompt in replying and rectifying the problem! Each transaction has been good.
  12. It is a great watch. They have been discontinued, but don't be fooled that they'll be a good investment opportunity, they won't be. You should buy it because you like the watch, not beac use it will hold it's value. The 2254 is often thought of as being Omega's tool watch, whereas the 2253 is more popular because of its link with Bond. Both are beautiful, and they are among the most comfortable watches to wear, they are so well balanced! If you don't buy it, let me know how much he wants for it, I might be interested
  13. Nice photo's! That BP looks 'gen' to me, if those hands were slightly thicker it would be very difficult to tell them apart!
  14. Looking forward to seeing the spot filled! May I just ask where you got your Pam 111 from, the crown on that looks great!!
  15. Members really need to stop posting pictures of this watch, I am getting itchy fingers for this one! It looks like such a nice shade of blue, the type that would be really versatile! Another nice watch that you own Slask!
  16. A few details would be good? Looks like the quartz version judging by the subdial spacing and the shape fo the 'B' on the end of the large seconds hand.
  17. My favourite blue dialled watch goes very nicely with a suit. The trusty old 2531.80, soon to own one of these again.....hopefully very soon
  18. Congrats Andy, here's to another 6,000 quality posts!!
  19. Talk about dangling the carrot The 3714-01 is just absolutely stunning, one day I hope to have the genuine in my collection, until then I make the most of posts like yours TP I personally have always preferred it on the black, for me the brown strap over does the gold accents on the dial and hands. It looks beautiful on both though!
  20. I can't really comment on the size as I haven't owned either of them. The only real flaws are the date wheels and the chrono pushers being slightly too big. And yes it's the same watch that features in Lani's review. It's a really beautiful IWC this one!
  21. Assuming of course that if there were no reps, people could afford to buy the real thing......which if true, begs the question why does this community exist. Even if we were to take a figure of $10million, spread it amongst 20 manufacturers (because not everyone would buy from the same brand - and there are hundreds out there)) that's only $500k per brand. That's a drop in the ocean for them.
  22. 1) IWC Portofino Chrono 2) Purschased - comes from the factory like that, all that it needs to be even more accurate is an ETA date/daywheel (
  23. Unfortunately customs is an inherent problem with this hobby. Did they not even to offer to send it if you pay customs charges on it? Send a message to the dealer and see what they say. Not a lot else you can do, it's illegal property so I do't think it's advisable contacting customs about it.
  24. Very nice! This one has such simple and elegant lines, wear it well!
