  1. YUMMIE
  2. You absolutely right Oliver, however this sticker is less a risk for the movement as the letter on the rotor might get loose and get stuck in the movement... with the sticker i think chances on that are more limited.
  3. Looks great... i'm not sure if this dial color is available, but maybe it's a new model i don't know yet. The case looks good, as does the finish and even the subdial spacing looks ok. The size seems larger than the genuine RO chrono, which is 40mm EDIT: found the genuine on kronos hxxp://www.kronosclub.com/ROC/mainX.asp?mnuNum=26041 (change xx in tt) The gen is only 39mm, limited edition of only 50 and goes by the name of "La Boutique Paris" I hope they will rep this one as well... with rotateble inner bezel
  4. I don't have a HBB yet, but if a sticker like this is being offered i would be interested... and even highly interested if someone could improve the font, like Kruzer suggests.
  5. Since Freddie is posting all these vintage Daytonas i am feeling an itch... and now i need one too. This would be my favorite version... It's gonna be such an expensive year
  6. Darn... looks way to fine... for my current budget Have to get me one... save money first... want one... sell another watch... need one NOW...
  7. Wow guys... i almost think some of you are member of Alcoholics Anonimous Forum as well Well... for me it's more simple... i am crazy about red Burgundy wine so when i come home it's a glass of Pinot Noir with some french chees, diner with more red Burgundy (or other wine depending on what we eat) and a cognac to finish... or a nice single malt. Oh... and sometimes it's a single malt to start with
  8. Same like my modded black SMP... probably more costs than a used genuine But still quite a nice achievement and it looks marvelous!
  9. Congrats!! Excellent watch
  10. Amen.. Prais the lord... Helleluja!!! Nice speach Freddy
  11. AMAZING!!! I'm in love But this is the most beautiful picture until now IMHO... magnificent! Perfect balance in there...
  12. Oef... i think $200,- is quite steep already but i am interested. This is no hard yes, more a maybe. I guess for around $125 would be good for me, maybe $150...
  13. WOW.. you must be kiddin'... i have seen them go for up to $ 25,000 and maybe a few even a bit higher, but never this high! Was it a very special version like a COMEX?
  14. Phong's caseback looks nice... but only seems to be a better starting point for modding than an MBW caseback. The engravings are deeper and wider, but still way to sharp to look anything like a genuine vintage 1665 caseback. If you remove the paint and try to smoothen the edges of the engravings this could well be a perfect caseback... but the caseback of my 1665 looks spectacular as well and was done by the same mysterie modder that worked on Stephane's vintage collection.
  15. Lovely watches... especially the snowflake Tudor sub!! ...and the 1665... and the 1655..
  16. i think so, but there are some real experts around who can tell you a lot about this.... or you could search in the Panerai section. Loads of info on that...
  17. this guy is hilarous... he almost sounds like he believes it... or want to believe it
  18. I found this picture in a post on another replica forum... the member who posted it got it from a japanese website. And he says it's a replica Graham Swordfish with Asian 7750 !! Personally i think this is quite an ugly watch... but i'm pretty sure some of you will be delighted this one is out on the Japanese market. So maybe soon here as well.
  19. Let's hope they will have a perfect replica before we reach 1,000 posts... Alright... the race is on!!!!!
  20. YUMMIE!!!!!! Nice Tudor watches guys Here's mine...
  21. Mmmm... a PVD Submariner looks stealthy indeed
  22. You call that a mega bump??? MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP ... sorry... guess i am being quite annoying... right
  23. Sorry mate but i haven't heard of swiss made or italian made replicas in a few years, but i'm long enough around to know that the first (and also my first) Panerai replica where from Italy and the chinese (back than the Taiwanese) bought these very replicas to get them replicated. euh... YEAH... you can! To be more precise... common clerks don't even know the brands you're wearing unless it's Rolex or Breitling or something they sell themselfs... and even upon close inspection (ok... without opening the caseback) they really do not know.... ok after a few mods the catch ratio is even better Mmmmmm i seriously hope you're not talking about this website... but there are some so-called review website who say they advise you to buy a swiss made replica , cat. AAA+++ and made from real 904L steel for only $899,- Stay away from those websites! I had to make some remarks but i really like your post.. good to see info like this be put together like a newbie-guide
