  1. Thats unreal TBoss!! I have never heard of anything so fast, hence my earlier post, but to know it was moving THAT fast is just beyond comprehension!! 80k's is just out of a sci-fi book!! I pray never to have to deal with something like this!
  2. I have a Skyland on SS and one on rubber, the SS feels heavy and like it belongs on such a huge brute of a watch! But I like the ruber and really want a bllack horn back for it!!
  3. It just beggers belief that something so deadly can move so fast! I remember as a kid I lived near the New Forest in dorset, a kid 4 doors up from me was a well known firebug and he set a pretty small fire in the wasteland on the outskirts of the forest, again it was windy and within an hour half the forest was lost. Even to this day I remember it clear as day, we thought that was a disaster moving fast. But what you guys are experiencing is just mind boggling!! The speed that its moving must be unreal, and I can only have nightmares about the heat it's pushing before it, you wouldn't even have to be near the fire to get some serious burns if not killed!! I don't know what else to say Ken and you Cornerstone and all our brethren from Antipodies, my prayers are with you all and the brave men and women, not all proffessional, that are helping keep as many alive as possible!
  4. I just heard on the news that they are blaming firebugs for this atrocity!! There are some seriously sick people in this world!! Able to see them from New Zealand?!? That is almost incomprihensible! Hope you and yours are still ok Ken, I feel for you and your country!
  5. My thoughts and prayers are with you all out there Ken! I have several friends live in the Melbourne area, thankfully I have had text messages assuring me that they are ok. AOL had it on their news front page as well over a hundred are now dead, I really hope this is just sick tabloid journo, the waste of life is already way too high without going into treble figures! Stay safe Ken to you and all of yours!
  6. I think your wee iceberg is gonna melt pretty soon buddy!!
  7. I don't know what it looks like as I can't see it. The description said rolex ring so I figured it was either made by them or resembled a rolex watch in some way. That was what it had to do with Rolex, I was just trying to be helpful and throw something unusual into the mix. Sorry if it isn't to your tastes or your ideas of rolex!
  8. Sounds like you and the family and friends had an awesome weekend bud!! You tend to find 'celebs' are way more relaxed at these kind of things. I can't see the pics but they have been described to me and it sounds like you got some amazing shots!! I met MJ once, at the first MotoGP race to be run at Laguna Seca for years. He owns a Superbike team that races in the AMA championship, they were the support races for the MotoGP. I knew one of his riders and managed to get into the garage and was going over the bike when the man himself appeared! Now I'm 6ft4" but meeting this guy is unreal, I rarely have to look up to a person to speak to them but my neck was sore that afternoon!! And poor rider, Steve Rapp, is only about 5ft4"!! I think he stood on a tool box at one point! lol. But Jordan was so polite and easy going, he knows a huge amount about bikes and racing. It was a day I'll remember, I just so wish I was wearing my Bulls jersey!!! Thanks for sharing your weekend with us bud, it sounds like one you won't forget in a long time either!! N6
  9. HaHa!! The big F finally manages to tear his ass out of the water and onto tinterweb at last!!! Hope you're still having a ball out there buddy! Now you remember what I said about those big swimmy things with big teeths!!!
  10. Hahahaa, sweet, Batman goes postal!!!

  14. This week I'll mostly be wearing this!! http://oakley.com/pd/5692/19145 man I love it!
  15. I feel TT's comment should be the closer on this thread! Pllease! It's not getting anyone anywhere other than annoyed and b1tchy!
  16. You will find it on his dealer forum.
  17. Lol, way too many to list!!! Have won the " cayote award" on several occassions though!! Lol, now I feel dumb! Didn't know there was pictures, my screen reader never picked them up! Thought it was just in general!! Doh!!!
  18. I've got my Grannie on speed dial JTB, bring on the Needle's!!! lol
  19. Sweet! Hope you enjoy it bud, it will be the first off many I can assure you!!
  20. Short yet eloquent and too the point Tom! Now can we stop these threads please? A little understanding of what these guys do is in order! It's not just a case of flipping open your watch have a fiddle and a squirt of silicone oil and hey presto! These guys are artists at what they do, see the praise Ziggy gets, it's not just by coincidence that this happens, I have heard a lot of good things about Tom since I've been here too. So he may not have time to answer PM's within 10 mins, he's working on a watch maybe, instead of googling Lyndsey Lohan's t1ts! Then again I've heard the bad side, like here. The main thing is, these guys take time because they are, in essence, working on time! Everything has to be vacumed in dust free holders as it comes out (how [censored] would you be if you got your watch back and the dial, or the crystal was dusty? All because you want him to answer emails?!) The guy has your watch for a reason, he is a master in his craft, so he may take time or be grumpy, so is my tattooist, but I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else as the guy is an absolute genius when it comes to his art, and that some times takes time, and some times VERY grumpy! ( not good days to be under the needle in a bad mood!!) Just my 2p's worth!
  21. It is always amusing when the "South" get a touch of the white stuff! Cars going off in all directions (not that I want anyone hurt!! Well not much! ) news readers predicting the Four Horsemen on their way, with their thermals on of course!! Try living up here, I remember having only a motorcycle to get from A-B, come rain, hail, sleet or shine I was out there! Going down the M8 to Glasgow like a speedway rider sideways on a Ninja ZX6R to just try and go in a straight line!! Or digging it out of a snow drift from a swift blizzard, in a hospital car park with only one shoulder working and trying to ride out of there!! Ahh good times!! lol It just amazes me how this country (UK not just the South) seems to grind to a halt with a wee flurry! I've been to Canada in the coldest March on record (lucky white heather eh?!?) The Niagra Falls were frozen solid, an amazing sight to say the least, breathtaking! Snow drifts at least 9-10 feet either side of the roads, but everything ran on as normal! Beggers belief this country! JTB, been sidyways down your way a good few times too! But thats in the summer playing on the roads, I apologise for the noise you have to deal with every Sunday in the Summer!!
  22. Chocolate salty balls! --The late great Issac Hayes. Classic! Shake your money maker, ---- Choose any number of artist's! I like the Black Crowes version personally Papa got a brand new bag, --- by 'insert name here'?!? Papa was a rollin stone, ---- Can't remember. I'll thinkof more as the meds kick in bro!
  23. Gods own country indeed! Always will be! nice find JTB!
  24. Welcome K, you sure found the right house for Reps!! As Lani stated Brietling had a huge year last year, others you may not be conversant with are Audmars Piquet they do a large chunky watch called the Royal Oak Offshore. You will see it abreviated on the boards here as an AP ROO, awesome looking watches and not the 'norm' in everyday land! Hope you have fun here and that you and your lady mind many pieces that make you happy! N6
  25. After being here just a few days I knew this was a special place to be with some very special members (and not the short bus kind1! Although.......) so I done the required proccess and supported right off the bat. The vast amount of knowledge in the place is phenominal! Not just for watch's be they reps or gens, but knowledge in general. There are guys in here that can help you with a bust washer as easy as they could help you with advice on a good deal for a watch! Seriously people, this place costs a fortune to run, I'm member 19,000 odd, even if we all chip a $ a month we can keep this knowledge and a great place to chat and meet real and decent people afloat without any problem! Is a dollar a month really too much to ask? Really???
