What kind of watch is that? i'm guessing, now this is a wild stab in the dark you understand, but I think, it could be, a fake one!
-

Nice! Almost a tad Rush there for a wee bit at the begining! I'm always impressed by Jazz drummers, I swear the have something else playing in their head!lol. I'm just jealous cause I was never that good!! Good sounds bud, thanks for sharing!
-
Very cool, I liked that a lot! Some of my friends doing what they do best! even if you don't like them wait for Tommy's solo, that drum kit is awesome!! I went in it once and tried to play and I swear I thought I was gonna die! This is one of my all time fav songs, so when they toured the UK in '06 they let me play the sound check with this song. Nikki and Vince were great, they played it like it was live, of course in my head there were 30,000 screaming fans!! lol. A memory that will always go with me to the grave! These are good friends and they do good tihngs, don't believe everything you read in tabloids! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Eza_JcuQWvk

Well said Nanuq, there are no other words! -
Lol, I have only heard rumours and the odd dig in a thread about this Jetmid guy, but even so, that was still funny!!
-
Good luck man, I really hope it gets working and you can show us the 'air tight'finished article!! lol You could do a review on this, you can't be the first person this has happened too? If you document the proccess, it may save some other poor guy the same grief you have had? A lesson learned and all that?

nikki6 replied to Justasgood's topic in The Rolex Area
Lol, you stinker, you have half the forum sitting on this topic waiting with bated breath!! In fact I think Nanuq may have just passed out from holding his breath!!! lol Typical, the pics come just as I post!! Sweeeeet bud, you sure have a friend there!! -
Thats what I'm told it looks like bud, my 'eyes' and myself only really have experience of gaskets doing a runner while trying to stop oil p!ssin out of motorcycles, but from the description, thats what it sounds like to me! To be honest I would have expected rubber too, maybe this sits under the rubber? It could be where the fault has occured, if they have only put that gasket in without the rubber I wouldn't expect it to be air tight? As I say, I'm getting told a description and I'm in no way shape or form a watch fixer/maker. My skill was in bikes! lol
-
Looks like a gasket that would go under the case back to ensure air tight, which it obviously didn't!

Sennheiser ear buds are awesome!! I use them for my iPod and for my PC ( I have to use a screen reader as I'm blind so need good sound and comfort!) They come with 3 different size 'rubbers' so you can get the best fit, they also cancel out pretty much all back ground noise. I also have bang ollufson and bose ear buds and to be honest there is very little difference between them and I have REAL good hearing! I would highly recommend them, you would save a bundle as well, the bose ones cost me

I've bought a good few black watches over the last 3-4 years. I'm a big fan of the Casio G-Shock Cockpit series, I got a ltd edition ION coated black version of a SS one I had, I love it and wear it often still! (even though I can't see them doesn't mean I shouldn't wear them!) I have a really nice Bench PVD coated black watch which is really stark and simple, the effect of it is fantastic! Have the J12 Cermic in black, and another couple of quartz watches that are just bangers I've collected over time. Oh and a real nice Fossill watch that I got in Niagra on the Lake that is polished PVD coated. They have been around for a good while, I don't see them falling anytime soon. Ok they aren't going to stand the test of time that SS or Gold will do, but I think they will be here for quite a while longer than some people may think.

the Supreme Reign of the White Anglo Protestant is over in the US
nikki6 replied to fotoman's topic in The looney bin
Well said doc!! I think it is still a great day for the world at large, not just the US. It's just a huge shame that it has to be thought of in such a way! Oh to be brought up in the way Lani experienced life. The world would be a far better and less blown to rubble place to live! Will this huge mile stone in history be anything other than a fleeting after thought in Gaza? I doubt it and thats an even sadder affair! -
Thought some of you guys may find this link amusing/interesting. It certaily shows that even genius's have their off days!!! http://www.asylum.co.uk/2008/10/21/most-ex...s-in-the-world/

Breitling skyland avenger blacksteel failures
nikki6 replied to breitling&omega's topic in The Breitling Area
I have a couple of SS Skylands, and they work great. I'm saving the pennies right now to get black steel, they are so stunning! Best person to ask would be Lanikai I think, I'm pretty sure hes had black steel longer than most. -
Haha, you sure are mate!! But it is well worth the hours put in I can assure you!

The rubber and SS strap I have for my 21 is really nice, not all SS so not as much in your face and the rubber accents make it a little lighter and more comfy to wear. I'm not sure if you can get them for your model, sorry I can't see the watch, but if you can and it goes with the face and case, then I would definately reccommend it for sure!

These are a pig to do!! I have the Cartier 21 signature and it's a horrible thing to put on (well in saying that so are most watches when you cant see or use your right arm!!lol) As Asim said, you have to slide through the horns ad almost come back on your self. Be very careful how hard you pull at the strap, I got a bit miffed at mine one day and hauled the strap clean off one side of the case horns! Was a nice rubbe and SS bracelet too! So bear that in mind when getting upset and the steam iscoming out your ears!! lol, they kinda pricey to replace! Very nice watches though, wear it well bud!
