Think you will you enjoy your time/term here! lol The best way to find what you want is to use the search button at the top right of the screen, there is very little that the guys on here haven't tried, reviewed or slated! I honestly don't think there is a Rep out there that hasn't come under the scrutiny of one of the guys here at one time or another! As for dealers, all the dealers on this site are well known and highly thought of, best one for you? Depends on where you live, what you are after etc. Best way is to go to the dealer/collector section on here and read through their own dealer forums (each dealer has his own forum space) and see what other folk have thought about them, the products, delivery, QC, ect. There is a HUGE wealth of experience aand knowledge that has been kindly shared on here by guys who have put in huge amounts of time and effort to give us reviews, thoughts and hints and tips. I would reccommend ToadTorrent (very amusing reviews and very indepth!) Lanikai (there isn't a rep alive that this dude hasn't got, and he has kindly put huge efforts into telling us about them!) then of course there is the mighty ByTor!! lol. (this guy has forgotten more about watches in general, rep and gen, than most of us could wish to know!!) So there you go Mr B, have a rummage around and see who and what you like, do some research and reading and you won't go wrong!! Enjoy bud! N6

Nope, TH didn't make the mistake of putting the 60 in the wrong place. The internal bevel can be moved with one of the chrono buttons. I have the same watch, I can't see the pic but I know the model you are talking about.

Use the search button for particular models or makes of watches you like. Read as much as you can about those watches that the older members (or should I say longer standing members) have kindly provided over the years. There are forums for each of the different dealers or 'collectors' as they are known, read through them, see what people have to say about them good and bad. It's all there waiting for you bud, dive on in!

The D!ck Tracey watch is closer than you think. You can now buy a watch that doubles as your cell phone. People were stopping wearing watches altogeather and using their cell phones as a clock. I guess this is the watch getting it's own back!

I'm going with the sweeeeet new Skyland SS Black face that just arived from Peter at iWatchstation. Got one on SS and one on rubber and they both feel awesome! The new SLR square face wearing brown leather or the AP ROO Montoya from Sillix may get some wristy time over the weekend! I love getting new watches, it's wicked cool! I would take pictures but you would only get the carpet or part of the cat and zero wrist candy!! I'll get Thunderchild to take some pics for me and I'll show off my new children, and possibly some of my other babies too!!

There is a nice black face Ingy for sale in the watch sales. Dude just put it up today but I can't remember his name now!! Have a look in there, I'm pretty sure he said it was unworn and had just been serviced. Gotta be a good starting place. Have to say I'm an Ingy fan, but the VCO just has that "thing" about it,it oozes class.

No worries Yodap, like we have agreed, a lot gets lost in translation sometimes I don't think the scammer thing was directed at any board member, it was just pointed out as a reason a lot of dealers don't sell them, but there are uses for them if you want to have a look at Robbies pics! As you say, it takes a while to 'get to know' someone, especially on line and working with different languages/broken english, it's hard, but it gets there in the end! Good I'm glad you aren't dissing it, it's a beautiful piece, maybe not as 'alive' (nice anaology by the way!) as an auto, but still worth having and wearing with pride!

Yodap, I think there may be some things lost in translation with this. From your manner of speech I'm guessing you are maybe German or Dutch? No one was calling you a scammer or anything else for that matter, it was just someone elses opinion on the subject. Again I think the "fooling yourself" comment may have been mistranslated. I think most guys, like Robbie for example who like the whole set, boxes, papers etc do so for maybe a feeling of completion. In Robbies case it's because he takes some amazing pictures of his pieces and often uses these 'props' as a background to the picture. At 16 years old you have a gen Tag and are dissing it for being quartz?!? Dude wake up!! You have a gen Tag there, some of us guys on the board can't afford gen Tags in our 30's never mind half that age! Automatic watches are great and the movement is lovely, but thats no reason to diss quartz movements, I have many quartz watches in my collection as well as automatic ( including 2 new 'V3' Skland Avengers, a Montoya ltd ed AP ROO and the new square face SLR of which I will go into more detail when my pop takes the pics for me!! But needless to say I'm a happy 6er right now!!) But at the same time i wouldn't dream of casting aside some of my quartz watches eg, my Oakley Crankcase, my No Fear carbon race watch, several Casio Gshock cockpit series or the Bourne ultimatum 3 Casio waveceptor ( which is an awesome watch by the way!!) Agreed when sat next to say, a nice Skyland, Navitimer or the AP ROO, they do look different and maybe not as 'high rollin' but I love them all and wouldn't part with them!! What I'm trying to say is, at 16 dude, don't close your mind to a whole stratasphere of quality watches just because it says 'quartz' in the description. Keep your young mind open until you are jaded and old like the rest of us!lol Oh and try keep things civil in here bud, this is a board of gents *cough, TeeJay * , it's not MySpace or Beebo. Try keep your cool and remember, things do get lost in translation! Now go look out that Kirium of yours and send it to a good home in Scotland!! lol

I have made a couple of friends in the short time I've been here and hope to continue making them for a long time yet!!

Would love to say it looks amazing mate, but you know I would be lying!! lol It really is at times like these I get really pissy as I would love to be able to see the work both you and the jeweller put into it! It's kinda like tattoo's and piercings, I'm able to hide all my ink but have a few very visable piercings. You always get the dumb questions, does it hurt, why would you do that to your self etc. I wear my tattoos because I love them and they all have meaning to me, same with watches, I love all of mine (some more than others, but shh, don't tell them!) I wear them for me not other people. If asked gen or rep, I tell the truth.
