  1. Fixen if you have 1 insert to spare pm my ass!! Thx
  2. I bet TC feels like Jeremy Lin right now!!! LOL they both better perform!!
  3. Good thing you got that sorted out Got a V Series as well, but with shaved rehaut engraving.
  4. I think the difference was the small movement?? Not sure
  5. Was offered $505 big movement, $405 small movement. I think the 2824 is a better choice in this type of an investment
  6. Does TC even offer non engraved rehaut? Is the case the same?
  7. I just don't take it off. I never got asked to take a watch or jewelry off to be honest. However once wearing my gen Daytona the TSA said "nice watch is it real" I said yes thank you and he gave me a look as if it was a 21j with "winner at Daytona" stamped on the back.
  8. Freakin great news! Good to hear someone is in contact with TC. Now it's just a matter of what you guys receive. I just wanted a darn bracelet from him to start but no response
  9. BK, you are always a gentleman and straight up. I don't think anybody would ever question your pricing. I personally have had a few watches from you and they are nothing short of amazing and I can see the value and justification of your pricing I currently own your TW Sub, and I do not even know where there is room for improvement other than the crown position which I do not care about. The thing that everyone has to realize are these small details that BK is mentioning. If TC does not know of these small issues they can become a problem. Hence my opinion of some sort of collaboration
  10. TC Should just contact BK and sell him the parts in bulk. He has a great case, but BK has the movements, and PBdad's SL dial. Could be the perfect hybrid.
  11. I emailed DW about a 7032 but never heard back. Didn't somebody mention he was backing off the rep game?
  12. Tom Ford is definitely one of the top brands out there. Unfortunately the only thing I can afford is his sunglasses! I have had 2 or 3 pairs in the past 5 years and very happy with them!
  13. good save! that zenith is the way to go if you want an open heart watch. My good buddy has the gen and it is a beautiful watch!
  14. Awesome purchase, a classic in anybody's book. I too would love to sell off a ton of personal items I do not use and create a gen fund.
  15. Can anyone recommend the strap from watchboys? It looks great and I need something for my 3717!
  16. Wow is the V3 BCE that bad? I was thinking between a BCE and a SO Abyss.... Should I reconsider the Abyss??
  17. I have been looking around but can't find a dealer with the BCE v2 with just the updated font. One dealer says it's been out of stock for a year.... Anyone know who has these in stock? I am looking for a graphite dial with either leather or rubber.
  18. If you are selling please let me know. I'm looking for a rubber strap to fit deployment.
  19. What's wrong with the TW sub? I'm sure you will be very happy with it
  20. I believe there were some upgrades on the V serial (v3?) there is another rep forum that compares v2 vs. v3
  21. Theo, I understand your concern. My apologies to you and the moderators. I never intended for this thread to be a new area for me to sell a watch. That is not the case. I didnt think I would get offers, I just needed some advice as I am having a hard time deciding wether I should part with this or fix and keep it. I spoke to a moderator, and agreed that if this watch sells to another member due to this thread, a donation/VIP membership will be paid by me. If the moderators feel this thread is inappropiate they are more than welcome to close/delete it as I never intended to hurt this forum in any way shape or form.
  22. Currently I have a PAM 204 Wempe in my posession that is cosmetically very nice. The case has swirls but that can be buffed out to look like new. We all know how rare this model is and its reputation. Last month out of nowhere the crown got stuck and will not wind. This could be an easy fix, I have no idea. If I pull out the crown I can actually move the hands its just in the winding position that it is stuck. Regardless I have not worn it much and I am thinking of passing it along to someone that would enjoy it. If the watch was working perfectly I dont know if I would be posting this, but at this point I am thinking I can do other things with the money by selling it. I dont have much time to look into a rep friendly watchsmith, as it might be far from me I cant get away from work to go fix it. Where I need advice is, do you think it is a mistake selling such a rare item? I know this isnt GEN so its not like there is a tremendous value, but such well built watches under 44mm are really hard to come by. This watch is really beautiful but I do not see myself wearing it much in the future. The other area where I need advice is how on earth do I figure what to price this out? The fix could be something simple to someone who knows his movements, or for a small fee at a watchsmith but I really do not know. Over the years I have seen the 204 selling for high amounts in other rep forums, so should I just consider this a salvage sale and sell it cheap? Your thoughts are much appreciated! Oh yeah, and pics for those "Pics or never happened" smileys lol
  23. So, I finally got my hands on a Pam 204 Wempe which contains the Lemania Movement. I noticed that the crown will not wind although when I pull out the crown I am able to change the time. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Lemania movement that could chime in. I am not capable of going in there myself to fix it, but I am willing to take it to a watchsmith if it is a simple fix. If its a complex fix, I think I will just put it up for sale as I do not want to dump more money into this rare and expensive watch. Its beautiful, but I can live without it. Thanks in advance.
  24. If you locate an extra 204 I would love one! I can imagine they wont be cheap....
