  1. That must have been a watch that was revealed at Basel BTW I am talking about Gens
  2. Yes 3 dots as it is a triplock crown
  3. Instead of removing "permanent" links you can also move over the pin in the clasp... this is what I do. All you need to do is take a safety pin and take out the bar in the clasp, just push it in one or two notches and you should be good to go. I have 6" wrists and I dont need to take a perm link out, and the clasp is perfectly center on my wrist.
  4. There was no need for that!! Thanks so much! I always thought scratches shows character (see my gen daytona it has too much character!)
  5. Will a gen crown fit easily?? I found one at a good price, but I'm not too good with my hands... So should I let a watchsmith handle this one?
  6. I would go for a Stainless Asia ETA GMT II Ceramic. I would stay away from Gold, but thats just me
  7. Thanks ByTor.... I am just looking for a gen crown to make things right. I also wanted to know if anyone has an idea on how to do a cheap waterproof test at home for this watch. I just want to make sure bathing and light swimming is OK, because it says so on WM9's site.
  8. Just picked this one up from Red. I must say it is very beautiful, except the lume is on the weak side. I got it while it was dark out so I used a lamp, but once i get a real idea what the lume is like in actual sunlight I will note it here. I am new to WM9, so I hope this is a good example of wm9's work. This is not a review, just a pictorial. Maybe I will add a review to help sway those who are looking for a wm9 product to understand how good his quality is. My Z serial gen daytona with its new brother How is the CG trim?? And date font?
  9. Thought they were out of stock? Anyways yes BK is your man to talk to.
  10. Beautiful review. I hope to make a review on my own as I have one coming very soon!
  11. Is it me, or is the O in ROLEX way off on this dial?
  12. Saw a date sub for 3k even on TRF its probably still available
  13. Hell, I wouldve done it for the TT sub alone
  14. Awesome watch... I am about to get a v3 myself.... I hope and pray it looks as good as yours my friend
  15. I just got an awesome one that I am about to sell... lookout in the fundraiser section
  16. I can deal with imperfections, but I'm no good at mods unless its installing a new bezel insert (is that needed?)
  17. I know this is as close as it gets as far as reps go, but physically is this model worth getting? Will I have any problems with it or will they claim it might come with tiny dings then see huge gashes all over the watch? I sold my modded SSD, and I have a pam 177 now that I dont think really suits me. You cant go wrong with a Rolex so I would like this WM9 Sub (I love perfection) or a GMT IIC (stainless). Any advice is welcome, and thanks in advance!
  18. Awesome collection youve got there!
  19. Thanks for all of your votes. After close review of both watches I think the 177 will be a good fit for now. I happened to try one in the NYC boutique earlier today and I really liked it. If I am not satisfied I can get a 3717 soon lol.
  20. I am making a decision in the next 24 hours for my next rep. Panerai 177 (decent version with asian untias, sapphire AR, and swanneck etc.) or IWC 3717 (latest version with double AR etc.) I do not plan on doing any modding except maybe a lume. Of course I will buy a nice strap or two though. Please vote to help me with this hard choice. Cant do both at the moment! So needs to be just one! Any opinions are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!
  21. That was short and to the point. I feel exactly the same. I fell out of Rep Rolexs big time, I only look at Pams, IWC etc. now because they are less likely to be called out.
  22. Awesome! Its just funny that my Gen Daytona has the lume of a rep!
  23. I need to find this lello datewheel somehow!! It is so hot!!
