  1. Exactly....who knows how long that watch has been sitting around. Good luck
  2. I would most definitely want some kind of fire power near by,Im a big pussy when It comes to paws and jaws This Is probably just another day In the life for Nanuq.:)Mike
  3. When you consider how many reps that are sold each year due to this sight, the complaints pale In comparison. Lets face It,some members dont post unless It's to complain about a rep thats having issues, otherwise we dont hear so much as a peep. Mike
  4. When you consider what those higher end reps will fetch, Im sure the number would be much more than $75.000. Not a one million $$$ loss for the dealer or the US side. But the profit Im sure would have been sweet to say the least.
  5. Thank you for posting this Mark, job well done sir. I guess I've been lucky. I have owned about 15 A7750's and so far only one had to be serviced. The rest are keeping good time and for the most part have been trouble free. I do know that at some point and time they will need to be serviced, but so far Im really Impressed with the A7750,good movement. Mike
  6. Dam someone fuked up Those Breitling reps are pretty nice. Sorry I posted this In the wrong area please feel free to move. Mike
  7. It's post like this that make me proud to be a part of this community. Thank you Andrew for sharing a beautiful/touching story, well done sir. Mike
  8. I have had to send two watches back to China. One took about 25 days and the other close to 30. The good news Is, all worked out well In the end, good luck. Mike
  9. I wish the op well with his situation. That being said, the staff here has always responded to my pm's and have always been very helpful to my needs. We must remember that these people(staff) have family/lives that come first,a little patence and understanding Is a must.
  10. Indeed Cheif, almost worth removing the movement and disreguarding the watch But that "questionable origin" really sticks In my craw.
  11. Having the battons In two pieces and the thicker pro II bracelet really makes this rep exceptional, thanks for posting.
  12. I would contact the seller and see If you can work something out, good luck:) Mike
  13. Most of these DD movements were purchased on the black market, hence the cheep price. Many of these movements failed because of the questionable origins. DD when contacted said they knew very little about Invicta and did not have any kind of relationship with the company. I would normally jump at the chance to have a DD/2892 combo at under $1000.00,but this company Is well known for there embellishing. I tell people If they need a beater they may want to try a Invicta, say for under $150.00. I can think of much nicer and well made watches when approaching the $1000.00 threshold. Imo Invictas are nothing more than a glorified rep. I do agree with you Chief, not a bad looking watch. But all things considered,no thanks.
  14. I totally agree with T,Indeed ken Is "The Man". When I need a rep product I need look no further then KB,class act.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4p7n2Nm1WMk&N Dont know If this fits the topic(probably not) but I thought It was funny Mike
  16. Very sweet pick up VH,congratulations Mike
  17. Welcome to RWG Rob....so tell us a little about yourself Dont mess with Texas. Mike
  18. Ok, how do you shut up a hot pain In the ass gf? Maybe I need a hot gf first Welcome Mike
  19. Welcome to RWG,nice to have you here Mike
  20. The watch Itself Is not my cup of tea but your review Is excellent. Thanks for taking the time out to do It Mike
  21. As soon as I saw "DOXA" I knew that Nanuk was not going to be hard to find Thanks for the heads up:)Mike
  22. I have to admit that this is about as Impressive a replication that I have ever seen It's not cheep at around $460.00, but these 187's go for around $12.000-15.000. Outside of a servicing the movement I dont see much more(if anything) that one would have to do. I will have to see a up close and personal review before I purchase. But so far I love what I see...props to the factories Mike
