Yeah, since the movement is allready avaialble there should not really be a problem for them to make a good rep! Fingeres crossed some new reps will be out by early 2010

I allready knew its used in the POC, thats what I stated above Some members disscused this some months ago, they seemed to have some insigt in it.

Read about these a couple of months ago in a thread, some people had some info on new speedmaster reps were beeing planned using the modified A7750 used in the POC. This is such a grail watch for us omega fans. Anyone have some info on this? If so, please share. Cheers Mike

Well if he sends it insured or express he gets a tracking # thats for sure, the price difference isnt that much (something like 5 USD more to send it trackable) so I really see no reason to send it without....especially if you are sendining a watch you sold for 300 USD! Im from sweden, PM the guys name and lets see if I know him. And lets see if we can sort something out. // Mike

Even if it was sent via regular mail from sweden to denmark, it should not take more than a week. Shipping via regular is the same as express almost. Have you asked the guy who sold it to you to get the tracking #? That should be the only way to sort it out. Regards Mike

I have the black one The fit, finish and quality feel is par with the UN MMD Chrono = Excellent!! The movement has kept time great so far, and I know they put a lot of effort into getting the movement reliable. Thats what kept them from releasing it for over 6 months. Only time will tell.

Not that much covered on this watch with the black dial, delaers pictures does certainly not do it justice. AR is heavy, to much hue though imo...lume is ok, quality feel, fit and finish definetly par with its 300 USD + UN MMD Chrono brother. The SS Braclet is outstanding....!! There is a great tutorial made by a guy called Ajoesmith on a movement swap similar to what you are attempting. I dont know if he has posted that on this site, but he has the tutorial sticked on his section over @ repgeek. Good luck! Cheers Mike

This is not my "home" fora, im more actice on RWI, but I regulary browse this fora and more than often have a look at Lanis incredible photos. I dont think you understand the amount of passion and dedication that Lani puts into this FORA, what I can tell from reading his posts he is a very sympathich, empathic and humble man. Phoband: Do you have the watch in your hands? Reason I ask is because I believe my UN MMD Chrono has a "built in cyclops" maybe the new Maxi Marine has the cyclops glued onto the crystal. If so, make a template of the crystal as it is now and you will not have problems getting it in the right spot later. Regards Mike

My only doubts about your project is that the Ulysse crystal has a built in magnifing cyclops so I guess it has to be specially made... But I will let the experts chime in as I might be wrong on this like so often.... Cheers Mike

I would like to chime in and say that it would have been easiest on all of us, especially Asim if he wuold just have made a post here or shot an e-mail to all concerned that he had some troubles going on in his life and that he would take care of the things he sold when he got himself togheter. But that would be in the best of worlds. We people are not all reacting in the same way. Some chose to keep somethings very personal, and I respect that. Some people might find comfort in sharing their hurting experiences with others, and I respect that to. What is important here is that Asim has answered us and given us his word that he will do things right. Given this we should all support him, not knock him down even further, and try to make his way back to "normal" as good as possible given the circumstances. Hi all, dont want to reveal his name as I wish that this will resolve in the best of ways and hopefully this is just a missundertanding. In early july I bought a product in the FS section here on RWG, since then I have nort recived anything nor have my PMs and E-mails been responded to.
