  1. Go get them Tiger !!! If you see something you like just drop me a line...
  2. I was busy the last few days and went on a vintage strap making mania: All straps are made from old and used leather (luggage, riding gear, belts): Vintage Tan Straps: Vintage Mustard Straps: Vintage Saddle Straps: Vintage Olive Straps: Vintage Beater Straps: Vintage Darkened Straps: With Bronze and SS Buckles (polished or brushed): Gen like stitching details (at least what I saw in "The Book"): I wish I had a watch for each one of them For now these will do:
  3. I am interested (any price idea?)
  4. Awesome work. This movement is just amazing ....
  5. A good firend and customer of mine asked me for some pics of a strap he was interested in and so I mounted it on a watch I hadn't worn in a while and fell in love again: http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww213/hamiltonstraps/Vintage%
  6. ... in no particular order: to be continued ...
  7. I ended up getting both, so I figured some side-by-side pics would be interesting to some of you that are considering getting the one or other version: I will keep the DSN which - at least for my wrist is a lot more wearable... Post to follow once the mods are complete....
  8. Congratulations and I can't believe you already got it. I saw this baby in real less than 10 days ago and it's a real beauty. The Erfurt Combo does it again ....
  9. Yes it is huge. Here for comparison next to the DSN version: And see the different bezel shapes;
  10. Since I the Vintage bug has bitten me this is the current result of the infection: VDB 3646 Rivet Dial Radiomir Panerai (Cortebert 616), DSN Egiziano (dead A7750 handwind to be replaces with vintage movement), homemade 6152-1 Luminor Panerai Desto (Cortebert 620R)
  11. Today was a great day: A friend of mine flew in and brought me a lot of goodies (and the woman I have always desired but couldn't have, just bought a ticket to visit me - sorry strap production might go down a bit ....). Here they are - my VBs (Vintage Beginnings): The 2533 is fresh out of the box so to say and so it still needs a lot of work done to it (gotta run and find Ross for a dial .....)
  12. Some more pics including wrist shots:
  13. My take on this famous strap for the financially less-endowed. It was time we start reping straps..... Here is the first prototype made from soft goat skin. I am still looking for some thread in the same color, in the meantime I just used white stitching. After one day of wearing it: This is easily the most comfortable strap I have: I want to express my respect for the original Bruno that I hopefully one day will be able to afford, for now this will do just fine....
  14. Came out nice Omni. I understand that even straps will get mods done to them. I am happy to provide a good base product, sometimes I even bring out stuff that doesn't need much All others: AP & B&R straps are now available, I also have an AR ROO coming to have a sample. Just send this baby for it's last tanning session (great texture):
  15. When the rum is oder than the girls - you know you are doing something right. But joking aside: Ron Zacapa Centenario (23 years old) from Guatemala is the best rum one will ever try... Enjoy the show: Some long legs here: And a shot from behind is always easy on the eyes:

One more shot I forgot to post:

After my first attempt was at the same time well received and constructively criticized I thought I give it another shot. Tell me what you think: As for the stitching (projectologist RG): I still haven't received the finer thread so I went with the thick one one more time. The strap is thick, but incredible flexible and comfortable on the wrist. The buckle is one of my self-made creations.
  20. I am sure it tastes great, but living in a Third World country you can't be too picky.... The Glenmorangie did the job today ...
  21. It might sound like the newest item on the specialty menu, but it is rather the result of bad weather, the need to have a drink and my latest attempt at straps for AP and B&R watches. Sit back, grab a snifter and enjoy: Better pics to follow once the sky has cleared. PS: again forgot to bring those pins for the AP and had to substitute with some push bars.
  22. You forgot: Ferrari & Panerai and Bentley & any vintage watch
  23. Sick like a dog, but just finished my first vintage strap for my Destro which will get me through this: And when I feel better I have to get some sun:
  24. Welcome jeckyll: I have a place in Miami and visit every month. To all other South Florida members: Let's do a GTG to welcome our new neighbor.
