  1. My take on this is to have it looked at... if it's OK, leave it, but if there's something wrong, even just some dirt inside to get it serviced... Where there's smoke, there's fire
  2. I just got the AP Diver with Swiss ETA 2846 movement in... Hack mechanism was completely missing and the oil was almost not oil anymore. Luckily my watchmaker is very good and had a hack mechanism in his spare parts. If this is what we get with the 'QC' on a Swiss ETA, we can expect it everywhere... And I don't think it's the dealers' fault... It 'seems' that they might even outsource their so called 'QC', which is is hit or miss most of the time.
  3. Hi all... I've searched through the forum, but can't seem to find any info on this Clone 4130 with fully functional chrono What's the deal with this current (and super-expensive) rep?
  4. Andrew has been my goto dealer for years, and he's always been excellent with communication, delivery, and resolving any issues... I will go to Toro or Sead if Andrew doesn't have what I'm looking for.

Maybe, but that's pretty twisted LOL
  6. Difficult to see at that angle. A straight on shot similar to what I posted could reveal all
  7. I've uploaded some quick macro shots that could explain the differences between models... is it possible that the corner radii are larger, so a less rounded corner window would not fit? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y7KRcQvfqt2aTvZIqt5drWvX2kXPRlhP
  8. It's not distorted, but the reflection and the parallax makes it look kind of bulbous doesn't it! I'll try to get a better one later.
  9. Yes, 2846... It arrived all dirty, hack mechanism missing, and oil was all gunked up. My watchmaker whipped it into shape and now it's running like a champ!
  10. umm... I wasn't welcoming you old-timer! I was appending to your list hahaha
  11. Welcome! FYI, Andrew is my goto dealer... Great service: http://www.trustytimestore.com/
  12. Yes, I found below photo over on RWI... It was a while back when this canal street version was released and it's pretty terrible... The new one from ZF is a completely different animal but I think I'll hold out for a blue dial or even better a ceramic version (but that might be dreaming)
  13. I've never seen this available from any of the TDs, but I'm thinking of going for it... It says it's from the ZF factory but not sure what their strength is.
  14. I was saving for a gen... Now I can try before I buy. I've always loved the Bathyscaphe and wondered why they hadn't made them before.
  15. Nice watch and strap! I love Erika's MN strap, I think I have five now!
  16. Has anyone noticed that TrustyTime now has the APRO FC Diver with the slow beat (21600) ETA 2846-2?
  17. PAM 243J on ADEEOS strap... Adeeos & RIP Kevin
  18. I ordered mine 9 days ago... no QC pics yet... They are drip feeding these for some reason... Do you think they're trying to pull a Rolex exclusivity trick?
  19. Wow! Pretty amazing run you're having there! No doubt you've made some dealer(s) very very happy too!
  20. I was going to get one, but got this instead. I'll probably flip this and get Rolex down the track...
  21. From the yellowness of it, it's clear that it's the famous Luminor Urina... or is it urethra?
  22. So... scanning through the latest 'New Releases' links on TDs pages, I see this popping out at me like in the matrix: ZF GF VS KV MP GM ZZ ARF YLF VS/V6 XF/V6 BP JF MK NOOB PF WF VRF JH DJF JH/OM UR JK Looks like they're trying to develop a new code or language, or subliminal obfuscation at least... All I have to say is WTF??!!
