thanks - yes my watchmaker is ordering some drills,
not sure about the size - smaller than 1mm to start i think.
but i try to get access to a good drilling machine - have some old cases to test first
Frank
thanks !
exactly - the Ref. 16700 i choose only because the dials are so cheep
i payed with shipping only 60 Euro for mine.
sadly i have no tw-best or other case with lugholes - drilling them will be an adventure
wish me luck !
Frank
this has still a lot of work ahead - but here are some pics of my "Franken" GMT-Master -
not much Franken jet - just gen dial + gen used insert -
my gen crown sadly dsnt fit on the rep-tubes - need new tubes first ..
next step will be lugholes and aging the case and non SEL bracelet.
but i will wear it the next days like it is -
Frank
check Homer also -
for me 400$ max if some mods are done or nice straps -
im shocked to see some offerings in the forums lately -
looks like modded pams will be soon reach the 1000 $ mark
Frank
i have a 195 and 112 from him - they are not the same -
the 195 is older and i have problems fitting very thick straps - on the 112 there is not such a problem.
cheers,
Frank
thanks for your effort and the
super duper pictures !
the watch is perfect !
i would not care about the crown - looks fine to me.
looks like your reached the end of your GMT-odyssey
this watch is hard to make better - next step is only a gen.
Frank

like to see the date font + magnification.
thanks alot !!!
Frank
[censored] - i wish my English would not be so bad - in 1 thing i disagree -so in simple words :
in general Breitling watches are bling bling gay - but when i wear my SFSO i only feel cold steel
nothing gay on it !
got this from Stephane a few weeks ago - put a gen insert + shaved the CGs -
modding is on hold now because costumes send the gen dial i ordered for it to Rolex for
authenticy check kind of funny ... my reps they always let pass ....
planed are gen dial, gen crown and lug-holes - but i wear i now for a wile as it is.
