Michael Gondry is god !! there is a nice DVD with his work
(also from Spike Jonze and Chris Cunningham)
highly recommended
i love all this old Bjork-Videos
Frank
Rolex for sure -
but if only one watch, not the Seadweller.
i would go for an classic Submariner with date or the old GMT-Master II.
the best investment would be vintage (all tritium with box and papers)
these watches you can wear daily everywhere with everything.
but personally i would (not anymore ) put so much money in a gen watch.
better put the money in something really nice like a house next to the sea
cheers,
Frank
my blue-white beater for the last days :
this week i have a little time - so i will work on some open projects -
workbench shot :
btw my camera sucks - i need a new one - any recommendation's ?
cheers,
Frank
i was wearing the GW all the time - no prob
as for the prices - i remember the SUB 14060 M was CHF 5100 = 3230 Euro
the price in Germany is 3930 Euro ...
cheers,
Frank
not so long ago this was the best modern SD-rep you could get -
and if someone named Joe did the mods - somebody else paid
premium $$ for it
the watch is okay - not very accurate, but should be very reliable.
but as by-tor already stated - don't waste any money modifying the piece.
cheers,
Frank
looks good - congrats !
don't worry about the bracelet - in the gen world the bracelet would
be exchanged already (after 25 - 30 years of wear )
and tritium would be not glowing any more.
Frank
today this :
superplexi
just kidding .... my new project - a long way to go still
i wish i would wear this :
but the dial has some problems (paint gets loose on the sides) - needs to be fixed first,
and all the other flaws
so i wear this :
cheers,
Frank
its not the "noob" version -
its the old CN-GMT Master - you can spot it easy : date position is to much right
and magnification to high.
not a very good rep imho.
cheers,
Frank
