  1. Bluespower: I am sorry that PAMs demanded another victim. But I am glad that he is one with your writing skills. Welcome to our bittersweet Panerai inferno!
  2. Well Tanfo, maybe this tutorial is for newcomers, but your photos are GORGEOUS!!! (as always...) When a tutorial on how to take shots your style?
  3. Do you know which movement is your 212?
  4. 1 for me too, Mark, tnx. Lmk when to pp.
  5. The End. You are lost. Paneraitis in phase 2 (according with Esmarc's staging): Phase 1: What is a PAM? Phase 2: Wow, a PAM! Phase 3: Where is my PAM? Phase 4: Where is my next PAM?!?
  6. HAL, really glad to find you here again! I have three fresh questions for you: 1) Wich is the basic question about Life, Universe, and Everything, whose answer is: 42? 2) Who is the lady in JB signature? 3) Am I lying now? Be warned, I can stand two 'not in my database' answers only.
  7. I'll keep it non-nude for a while...
  8. HAL! I did nor check the 'I'm new around' forum for a while, and I was about to miss you! Welcome back!
  9. You can electroplate DIY. 4 microns plating will last more than any of us.
  10. Don't ask it! Don' tell that name! Don't even think about it! As for me, my tale is exactly opposite of yours: I stumbled upon RWG while I was surfing the web searching for PAM reps...
  11. Pug, you have been quite successful. If your watch was 5 minutes a day fast, it was correct every 144 days. Being now correct twice a day, you got a 288% improvement.
  12. For your own safety just stay away from PAMs.
  13. Another masterpiece for my 'Worst PAM reps ever' collection! THANKS!!
  14. Thanks for sharing! (even if i already found it in my 'Panerai' folder, I don't know how ) But the shortest (and still the best) description of the Panerai Syndrome is that from Esmarc. As he is not adding it to his signature anymore, I hope he will forgive me if I am quoting it by heart: Phase 1: What is a PAM? Phase 2: Wow, a PAM! Phase 3: Where is my PAM? Phase 4: Where is my next PAM?!?
  15. Just take it: http://www.dretschler.com/catalog/product_...dcb243bb0f8b98a ...and for a fraction of the price of an iPod you will be happy.
  16. Really. I've been hunting for it all a night long, and I've not been able to find it! Still, I ended up with a whole bunch of new Adriana's pics... BTW, great watch and strap, Dani! It left me almost breathless. Or was it that Adriana's pic?
  17. Thanks! (And thanks all, people! Honestly, I was not expecting such a general consent ). But, as I am going to the sea, I am a little concerned about the resistance of it and the leather strap to sea wind and saltness... I think I'll rather go back on one of my SS bracelet models. The 027, maybe?... Or the 050?... Or 090?... (Still waiting for my 028 back from PVD coating). I think I have too many PAMs these times... All RWG's fault!
  18. Ah! Now I can finally figure out how and why you all folks seem able to understand my English!!!
  19. So, someone is selling a gen 123 on ebay? You may compare it here: I think we find it ugly just because we all get accustomed with the 090 look. Actually it is neither better nor worse than it. Interesting to notice that this is the less expensive way to make a 090 right-handed, you just need to print sort of a mirrored dial and datewheel. I agree that OP could spend a little more effort on it though.
  20. Hey kruzer, and did you like it? I re-read it at least 5 times, each time finding some new details and relations I missed on previous readings...
  21. Davidsen's hands costed USD 45. My watchsmith replaced them for free (but I gave him EUR 10 anyway). Davidsen also sent me for free the new small second hand that I am waiting for. He did not even want me refund him for expedition fees!
  22. Thank you all folks, I am flattered. And a special thanks to The Zigmeister, who helped me in knowing the correct size for the hour and minute hands. As promised, here are some wrist shots: @Esmarc: hi, mate! Should this turn out in a small business for Davidsen, he would just deserve it. You figure, he had to place an order for 10 hand sets to the manufacturing company, just to let me have my 1 set. So, I think he has 9 ready sets waiting for customers...
  23. BTW, 090 caseback is NOT see-through, and it has OP6556 engraved.
  24. Here is v2.1. Some bugs fixed. Many PAM 2XX added. Some OP numbers added. PAM_Table_v2.1.zip
  25. Thanks, ehtolcad! It needed some days, as my job kept me very busy after my first post about it. But I remembered of your interest, so as soon as I got a free moment the first thing I did was to take these pictures. But -- ouch, you are right, I missed a wrist shot! Ok, I hope to be able to post it before week-end...
