First congrats Z... The DW is one of 2 flaws Z .. the V2 has a beveled Date Window.. but everything else is terribly wrong .. The lume needs a day or 2 out of the box before the lume will be uniform... the green will turn to blue.. so no worries .. try putting it under a halogen lamp for 30 to 40 min. it will be green then turn blue.. but it really needs a couple of day's out of the box ... My lume took a couple of day's to really get uniform .. out of the box after charging it under a halogen it was green and slowly turned blue.. Live Strong and Wear it Well !!

I was going to email to ask if you would consider luming the Deep Sea.. white daylight ~ blue when charged.. then I read this... .. nuff said.. Thank You R !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black Steel this Morning.. but this the rest of Friday

The main reason I "cherish this community and all it entails" I have tried in the past to talk to people about the watches they are wearing.. mostly vintage genuine models.. even a friend with a 1680 and 1665 that he bought almost in pristine condition some years ago.. he had no clue about the model number the history nor that it had apexi crystal .. he also collected a vintage 1675 that he explained as ,"it keeps, World time" .. well, but he had no interest in discussing the history nor anything other than he bought it as an investment from a couple of friends of ours that have since moved away.. he used to be into collecting those pens that were numbered and gave that up when another friend that owned the pen shop passed away. there are other stories about friends with Panerais.. although I enjoy conversations with them .. they look DOWN on replica watches and don't really know as much as members here about the history of their brand.. It is the reason that I cannot wait to get "home" to friends that share the Passion weather the watch is genuine or replica .. and just ... plain make you feel like others in the world share the same .... obnoxious obsession, in the history and everything that goes with the timepiece .... any timepiece that cost more than a couple hundred dollars is really jewelry .. for me it's more than both .... it is engineering... it's art.. it's Ziggy's Art ,.. it's just plain Beauty !! I could go on , and on ,, Ad Infinitum !!... but you get ma drift !! edit add:... great topic SP ... it would be lonely without you all.. I know I already said that... but I said it again..!! Where would I go without this place... granted I would save money .. but then again it would just go into a lesser hobby !! I Love this Community !!

Aaron is Solid .. no need to worry and definately not reason to think of him as a 'scammer" in anyway.. just sounds like a mix up of sorts.. it happens to all of us sooner or later, when things are shipped half way around the planet. Just be patient.. I ordered this strap long before I recieved my Black Steel I,... as I'm sure many members will vouch for Aarons Integrity... You'll recieve your strap soon enough I'm sure.

Can't get it off ma wrist either.. Back in the day Hong Kong Tailors loved to do the sports coats with red stitching on the lapels.. etc.. I asked Aaron for a strap for the Chopard when I got it.. he suggested black with red stiching.. then I forgot about it.. didn't I see a pic of your Chopard with the red stitching?? .. would ya mind posting a pic of that even though it's not Breitling ?? I like the gator hide with the stitch.. think I'll have to order one for the Chopard chrono ... thanks W ..

Found it .. the date window is more correct .. but I think I'll sacrifice the DW for the rest of the flaws on the V2.. coronet .. markers ... rehaut font ... Bezel (everything about it) .. case looks off also..

so, let's not name ourselves "Dr" when the "alpha ~ omega".. means nothing .. cause we have quite a few Genuine M.D.'s on the board .. Omega ... "The End" .. cannot find the V-2 with beveled DW.. I will humbly apologize if we can see some "proof" .. this "I will post pics later" .. sheesh..

Looking through the loupe it appears the dial is matte.. but you are more versed in the Rolex.. looking forward to your take Omega..

SP .. great reseach for the genuine pics !! Here is the 2 in comparison (CG) the DW and the bezel font have already been validated on the rep to genuine.. the genuine crown has a higher point to the end of the crown.. the rep is flatter.. the CG may be a little higher also.. hard to tell at this angle just how much higher .. both can be fixed.. the Date Window and bezel font.. unfortunately has to be fixed by the maker.. so until then this is the best version until the maker corrects it.. The dial on the rep is matte.. but with the thickness of the crystal there are relections.. I would imagine the genuine crystal is just as thick.. the date window on the genuine.. really appears to me to be a double beveling ..and the bezel font not being centered "Gas Escape Valve" as has been discussed before..

Actually after wearing this combo for a while .. I really like the red rubber finish on the sides.. it is not a genuine Breitling design.. but it should be IMO my initial knee jerk reaction was "too much" .. I think I was jus being too rigid.. While wearing it and the looks I was getting .. I was actually getting a little self concious .. almost gave one guy a.... What !!! Good thing I didn't .. he said,"Cool looking watch".. didn't get that before Aarons strap ...

Thanks All for the words of encouragement !! After wearing it all morning .. it isn't "loud" at all.... this strap was meant to be worn with the Breitling Black Steel !! I really dig looking at the side view of the red edge.. and what's more it is so comfortable .. thanks to Aaron for a great alternative for the Black Steel !! He shipped it out as soon as it was done .. instead of waiting for the rest of my order to be finished.. thanks "Ma Man" !! Lani

. . . it is rather LOUD ... the reason why my reaction was to put back the black divers. . . . . it's a nice match.. but it's kinda like the guy wearing the pink suit and pants in the club .. ya gotta be able to pull it off..
