I'm happy with my HK distressed (to genuine specs) .. it fits the lugs and the deployment clasp perfectly.. BTW.. the 5004 will be released in a short time .. same maker I believe of the recent 5002.. and I myself, would rather go with a non working PR.. that is 'dial' correct than an incorrect dial configuration with working PR..

A while ago I bought a watch box from a member and after clearing up a huge misunderstanding and actually being able to laugh down to my toes about it today, and that member and I have laughed about that terrible looking Box .. another member pm'd me during the time when I felt kick and drug throught the mud.. (it was an awesomely bad week) This member pm'd me and said he would like to send me a watch box .. to "Cheer up another member" .. well .. at times I have a hard time accepting gifts.. I was so shocked all I could say was "Thank you".. I was going to wait another week or so .. so I could present it with my next "Pictorial".. but I feel that out of "manners" I have waited much to long to post a "Thank you" to Slartibartfast .. for his kindness..... But I will wait for the next Breitling Rep release to showcase his Kindness (very soon) .. and promise to put 110% into making those pics some of the best that I have done.. I am not a photo wiz such the likes of BT or Pug .. or a reviewer such as.. ToadT .. or Andreww .. but I will make this one something that I can be proud of and do Slartibarstfast the Honour of his "loan".. because with the Community as it is .. and before I do so, asking his permission (Slartibartfast).. someday I will probably pass it on to the next member who would like to use it in a pictorial.. Grey~Black dials in Comparison.. A member Humbly requested my opinion of the 2 dial colours.. so I think it's better to have him view the comparison.. in natural lighting.. it is not overcast.. the tradewinds have died and the "VOG" volcano smoke from the Big Island has settled on the Islands .. you cannot even see the mountains.. nor the ocean,.. sulfur smoke is brutal.. so the pics are not in sunlght .. cause there is none.. Note : the lume dots on the black dial look much better IMO than the grey dial .. anyone else notice this ?? Black ... Grey below In the most reflective light I could angle .. Black on top Grey below Specifically a shot of the Grey dial in relationship to the Strap.. I truly hope this helps the member that pm'd me.. I have not returned pm's by members that have just arrived .. not because I think of myself as .. not wanting to be bothered.. but as other members have experienced.. I take time (and to all of us .. precious time) to answer the pm's only not to get any reply back no thank you or acknowledgement of my answer, and a week later get pm'd again with the same spamed question.. but this time this member was truly gracious and appreciative .. and answered each reply.. not hard to do if your going to ask someone to do something.. So to this member.. I hope you decide based on these pics .. what you wanted .. but jus wanted to "make sure" .. pssst.. IMO the Grey is *SNAP* with the black divers strap.. or leather.. or gator..it is a very versitale watch.. and I thought instead of sending this to one member .. may as well let all see.. Thank you very much freddy ... now I can see about removing the dial.... can I use the hand removing tool to remove the cannon pin.. to take off the dial ?? I need to learn ab out the keyless works.. more to point the set lever.. I messed up more than one movements keyless works and am anxious to attempt a fix on them.. thanks in adance if anyone can answer .. Aloha lani

Some can look at this as giving the Ray's a huge edge .. suspending the game after they score ... and this being the World Series.. you cannot think that they would let it end like this.. which in fact they decided not to.. or more on point .. I usually say... " it fell off a truck" ! I'm in the same mind set as TJ.. if complimented, I say, "Thank you" and leave it at that .. I've never been asked if it is a rep. but if that issue does come up .. I usually ignore obtuse peeps.. or give them a "look" that usually makes them apologize.. If asked by someone I have come to know.. I tell them about my "hobby" .. about having friends that have helped me source genuine parts to have a watch built.. usually when I'm wearing a Ziggified Vintage Rolex will I proudly tell them of "hunt" for parts etc. that excites me.. but if it's someone who is coming across as an A-hole .. I jus ignore..

Thanks BT.. no, not new .. I've had it for about a year now .. but as our hobby.. goes ... what is not appealing last month ... suddenly is this month.. btw... the Blue dial suits your wrist better ... somehow it looks different to my eye's on mine..

Thank you BT... I'm concerned if it's plated.. I wonder why they would use "plated" on a rep like this.. I've been waiting for a couple of years for a decent Black/Gold TT ... *sigh*.. I guess the wait continues then.. Edit Add:.. Plated is out Wrapped will come later... (per Joshua)... hope the wrapped will be able to cover the SEL's .. they could of plated the SeL's and then brushed the overcoat.... oh well we can hope.. this was a prototype..
