All you really need is the Genuine Dial and the tube/crown.. chieftangs AR matches or surpasses the genuine crystal this is my UPO with gen.-dial; crystal; tube/crown .. the hands are good enough .. you cannot tell the difference but they need SL ...to match the dial.. and the bezel is good enough to stay with the rep .. the pearl needs SL.... so if you go this way the parts will cost you under 300 usd after removing the rep crystal and replacing it with the genuine.. i had the rep crystal AR'd by chieftang.. that will go on my UPO orange (pumkin) model.. and i can say chiefs AR is better..IMO than the genuine..

this is a Good Day All... I completed my first crystal removal.. a big deal for (me) one in a row... so today I am wearing my PAM PR.. with bracelet.. my preference is for the bracelet... actually my fav PAM on bracelet the bracelet is oversized and I like it that way .. it is in sync with the rest of my arm...

I DID IT.. ...... ...that was actually very easy.. now that i had some direction.. thank you gentlemen popped the proverbial cherry .. with my first crystal removal.. You mean I gotta put it back ?? Ziggy's explanation on reinserting the stem worked to perfection...!!!!

I actually got this awhile ago .. i only put it on now as this UPO still needs modding .. but out of curiousity i attached it and I would say it is of the same quality as the porsche Flat P,... the Graham oversize Chronofighter and the IWC CD.. the texture is a bit more rigid at the lugs than the graham .. dust resistant: it definately is that... the profile of the rep divers strap IMO is "Solid".. here's the pics i have the CT AR'd crystal to go on this and of course the genuine dial and crown.. i will do a comparison at some point and time after i get this modded.. my confident impression is CT's AR will out do the genuine crystal.. anyway hope this helps anyone wondering about the rubber strap btw the orange bezel will go on this then the orange rubber strap..... the only problem.. which I believe can be fixed at least reasonably by getting the genuine Spring bar.. the rep bar is really thin.. Merrickville I believe was the first to suggest this "fix" I'm wearing my modded UPO in this pic.. but until i get the genuine bars I really am not wearing it, hee... well almost never.. i shouldn't it be wearing it even around the house until i fix the spring bar issue.... one of my UPO came undone with the rep spring bar.. yikes .. can't risk it.. see the gap when you bend the band.. IMO this is because of the weak thin spring bar holding the strap in place.. I'll let you know..after I put on the genuine..

hows this.. about 100 usd dosen't seem like I'm going to need more dies than these.. i may need 1 more size up which I can get ..ala carte thought's on why not to go the so called easy and faster route.... Bad experiences or "no" experiences with the bergeon crystal lift .. no need to take watch apart device ?? something that sounds too good to be true usually is..

Thanks very much sssurfer and F-3.. does gesswien make the screw in ... just looking at them makes sense.. looking at the plier type lever makes me a little nervous.. if the crystal is not sitting exactly properly on the lip of the case it could spoil ma day...thanks gentlemen...

jewelers screw driver is all u need the slot fitting may be different though .. as my collector sources me another tabfor my BB and it is a fraction of a mm off on the fitting.. better than before though..

Before the day was half way done.. to my amazment i found this back on my wrist.. this for tuesday thank you Stephane... i picked this up last year .. wasn't sure how good it was.. but now you confirm it for me.. Uda man..

Well, this looks adequate for a few times a year use.. should be about 50 to 60 usd shipped.. @sssurfer.. sounds like experience talking .. i will use the press.. thanks..
