  2. Thank you Pix.. i alway's truly enjoy your post and especially your images... with you it really is the "singer and not the song".. That is a beautiful timepiece and the strap makes it more so... Live Strong and Wear it Well ... lani
  3. Remember you posting that it was like this out of the box.. the A7750 is avery good movmt. after Ziggy serviced my BCE graphite it is keeping SPOT ON time.. Zig advises me that the A7750 mvmt. is just as good as the ETA 7750 .. but with proper servicing.. read his review on the movement.. BUT back on point you should get it replaced by your dealer..
  4. SWWEEEEET !! Live Strong and Wear it Well
  5. I can see why it stay's on your wrist.. didn't think much of the Academia.. but that shot really brings out the detail.. it's a beauty !!! I always thought the dial was too busy but this just changed my mind... got me back on this one,...
  6. You do need a DSLR UB.. I am going to get a macro lens next.. still need to play with the settings though I'll work on it
  7. Chopard GT XL LE HBB .......CT AR BCE ..corrected silver hands Have a Great Weekend ALL !!!
  8. After a little wait... the nature of the Beast in this Hobby, I recieved my HBB Lite back with it's new AR'd crystal I was alway's under the impression that the "Hue" or plume tone in the AR had a lot to do with it's refractive quality.. until my genuine PO crystal changed my opinion on the deflection of light in relationship to the AR coat... IMHO it has nothing to do with the colour in the AR Also, I was going to swap my ceramic bezel in my HBB SS version. but after comparing them I really don't see a"HUGE" difference so I will leave it alone for now.. the only obvious is of course the weight.. Hope you enjoy viewing.. These are Pics in sunlight.. the filter on the camera is toning down the direct sunlight in the background .. but it would not do that on the crystal.. What is interesting in this shot is ... with the naked eye there is absolutely no hue or colour.. but with a 10.5 million pix camera this is what you see..in the harshest reflection I could find
  9. I already passed on this one.. it is a Swiss Quartz.. I just cannot get over the jerk in the SS hand.. makes me feel [censored].. why is S-p-a-s-t-i-c censored ?
  10. All I can say is thank you.. and btw you have exquisite taste in Timepieces Drew....
  11. IMO .. it "is" a Killer Watch.. and I must add though late,.. that the genuine crystal is only single AR due to the inlayed cyclops .. and although a double AR would only add to the esthetics of this piece .. it would take it out of the replication of "genuine" realm .. and into the Franken sphere
  12. Cardinal Sin.. don't do it.. period
  13. Actually it is quite good.. it even is scented ..Vanilla like the Paul Picot strap.. it is more firm than the previous Chopard.. IMO the best divers straps are the CD's and the posche Flat 6 .. the Graham and the Chopard are very good though.. better than what we were used to 2 years ago.. if it's the rubber strap you like then you will not be dissapointed..
  14. thank you Turbo.. yes there are differences .. they are different models.. so hopefully the rep followed the genuine sample to the "T"
  15. Quality is "OK" .. although I really didn't comment on the strap.. it is a rubber strap and only so much can be done with it.. it "looks" like the genuine.. but i plan (like almost everyone I assume) to replace it with a alligator or leather one.. it would have to be made though..
  16. Aloha Pumehana "Forever Lasting Love" To you and your Beautiful Bride Cronsell !!!! Thank you for letting us in on your Special Day .. I can tell by your faces the Joy that this day has brought both of you... May God Bless you as one.... with all the Joy and Happiness the World can offer... Thank you again Cronsell Lani
  17. thanks Archi.... as we all know there are about 4-5.... factory collectors.. and in the case of their assigned numbers down the road this may benefit "us" and protect bad sales from scammers....
  18. Chopard GT XL Chrono LE Grey Dial It's finally arrived.. and IMO worth the wait Genuine Specs "Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono" 2007 Chronograph Limited edition Case
  19. Thanks freddy.. but I'm going to the camera shop now for some tips... the focus on the finer tics is off. and with over 10 mil. in pix.,.. (takes forever to upload now)... it should be clear as day.... but the smudges on my key board cannot be seen with the naked eye.. sheesh.. going to pic up the Chopard GTXXL too. be back..

Help please Lanikai, Italiano Your asking the wrong parties....think of it this way .. whatever one you get .. the other will enjoy a short reprieve.. Edit add: no firm word on the swordfish yet.. just sooner than later.. hope this is not another slevin..
  24. there are a few that turn out well but as the level of replications have elevated ... find a collector that will be honest about the quality of the replica.. nuff said......
  25. cut out the movies the clubs a little, buy a mophead.. cause this is going to be a banner year.. and it's seems like just the beggining of the genuine sampled replications... if it ain't from a genuine sample why bother even ???
