I consider myself a sophomore member of this forum .. period.. ( I came aboard in 06).. I can see it insulting those who have posted and ANSWERED numerous questions by new members.. if plagiarism is in fact the best form of flattery then everyone.. who ever originally layed down this guide should be given "gold stars".. but to start a thread about what is discussed over and over and in a way say that the SENIOR members of this forum don't give advise or guidance to someone that is without the information is in effect saying that the members don't know what they are talking about and are self serving.. which I find Ludacris. when I first came aboard ... i was happy just being able to enjoy reps .. then.. as my interest grew senior members were more than helpful .. in assisting me to other members who could source parts and knowledge.. in this way I "learned"... sourced parts to make a better replica... my first year I did not post ... and as I asked questions later on .. members who have been with the original RWG were more than helpful.... i could list them but it would take too long.. I learned and am still learning from the verterans... but to post this is saying that it has never been approached before?.. I can commit to memory most of the things that were dicussed about "tells" or "flaws"... personally I really could care less about what I wear having the Tells.. we all know they do ...it's like telling the person "you better not wear this or that because everyone can "tell".. takes some of the enjoyment out of it for new members .. don't you think?.. or maybe scares them away.. or makes them self concious... I remember the first rep I got.. well the first descent rep... it was Fun... felt exciting.. not to know too much at once.... now I source parts and genuine parts because it's still fun and the challenge is a "hobby".. I have alway's played team sports... and instill that in my workers.. I like to think I lead by example and not "control"... i try to make everyone around me better than I am... thus making the "team" better ... if I try and beat everyone to the proverbial "punch" or try and take credit for everything, then I am destroying the very thing I am trying to accomplish!!!! when I have a worker who tries to gain suport of others to better his cause .. it destroy's the unity and team work.. needless to say the results of the goals.. some very senior members have choosen to take leave.. have you noticed Ziggy is not around as much?.. the one member who has helped countless members old and new.. through all of his own challenges...whose reviews have shaped a lot of the rep market... this is not a RED FLAG.??. Ziggy IMHO is not unreasonable.. totaly to the contrary... if the attitude is "so what?.. I'll do as I please and mask it in the "helping"others.. what do you think he has done all these years before most of us got here?????????????? before you before I..... there were the members who started this forum and held it together through thick and thin.. and now someone is saying they know better? the thing is either you or I or whoever is part of the "problem" or will be "part" of the solution .... this is a Community and as such needs "Lokahi" .. unity with support ..... togetherness.. we have our differences but we need to "Hooponopono".. problem solve and cleanse.....no one should think that they can just do whatever they please and thus divide the community masked with congeniality... that in and of itself is "fake".. chrgod got me to thinking about the concentric rings on the sub dials.. I was really attracted to the white numeral version.. why? Many of you probably are already aware of this .. but this is probably why I am attracted to the Numeral version of the BCE my white BCE numeral there is a definite difference in the concentric rings of the sub dials in the stick (markers) version and the numeral version .. as exact to the genuine version.. check the Breitling site and you will see they are replicated exactly as the genuine rings the Numeral version is more pronounce, and slightly raised.... the sub dials on the stick model is bigger with larger numerals and the the rings are closer to the dial..at first I thought maybe they were sourced to different makers (dials).. but in actuality they are what the genuine is made to be

actually I think it's a fair price considering the time , skill and knowledge put into the part.. not as simple as many people think.. around 65 usd that includes shipping .. got them in yesterday .. and got more on order.. lello's Panerai DW's make all the difference, he will not dissapoint .. of that I am sure.

I have a dark brown and a black deployment in the airspace above the east coast at the moment getting closer to Hawaii and Lellos DW's arrived yesterday .. soon this watch will be making it's pilgramage to Canada to see the Zig Doctor.. Add on : this white dial with D-AR has me mezmerized.. it has many different hues in different lighting.. although as you know the double AR is not as prominent on a white dial... but what does happen is in florecent lighting it gives a magenta hue.. and will switch to purple/royal blue,when i face the crystal to the window with sunlight cracking through.. or as you put it plum... i do believe people around the coffe shop that i was at thought me strange because i sat in front of my LT and could not take my eye's (over pure enjoyment)_ of my watch, turning it in all directions .. totally oblivious to people around me.. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN AND BOY'S ARE THE PRICE OF THEIR TOY'S

chrgod has done a great review on these BCE's and I have had a growing attraction to the white dials.. I have stayed with the stick dials as the numerals looked like overkill on the darker dials.... but I kept looking back at the BCE with white dial and numerals as fitting well together.. I am very please with the result of the dial colour with the silver numerals as opposed to the stick dial... by the way the hands look black but are in actuality silver.. as Italiano has noted with his genuine "Skyland" It is a double AR, but with the white dial .. the royal blue -purple is not as prominent as the darker dials.. it still is prominent when catching light at an angle though, it is unmistakably double AR coated.. The colour on the dial itself .. seems to lighten with soft light.. when in soft light the colour is almost champagne.. and a very clean and bright white in the daylight.. interesting contrast . i rather like the different shades according to the lighting.. And the gator grain brown strap will be put on , (or maybe not ) until my HK Tan alligator deployment arrives.. anyway nuff said here are the pics if anyone is pondering getting the white dial with numerals Lanikai

This is a discussion board and we are here to do just that .. so attention to detail is an admirable trait.. one that in this hobby is much needed at times.. with that said here is my "opinion" on the double AR of the Aquatimer.... remember the first one that arrived .. HEHE... hands falling off, the AR was in my estimation double but "weak", Well the replacement was like night and day.. I thought Eunos looked great ( IMHO nothing can beat the SOSF at the moment unless you go with HauteHippie or k222 .. with that said .. my second Aquatimer is double and stronger than the first... the maker who commissioned this watch must have sourced the crystal out to a different factory than the SOSF and Breitlings.. I have a feeling the quality will vary.. or let's just hope it was the very first few that went unnoticed. I am not defending the collectors but the maskers are the ones with the responsibility to uphold their end of the bargin... proof is in the second Aquatimer i recieved which had better Quality in the AR.. If this were a genuine I would surely take it back for a refund.. but this is the business of replicas... it is after all "Illicit" and i feel good about getting improvments with the replications of the genuine article.... it is getting better all the time... just my 2 cents Lanikai

The TT seems to come in two versions.......http://www.breitling.com/en/.... check out the Breitling Instruments site.. and the two tone version has a flash pic of the white subs but the "versions" area has the TT with gold sub dials I have the TT BCE and the subs ar in fact gold edit add on:..hope that helps BB, if that will help youpart with your $$

just need to know the experts take on the SMP chrono and regular SMP for that matter... are the hands on these reps passable..,...are they spot on.... or are they out and out horrible The reason being if anyone has knowledge of this I would like to hear it.. if you have had hands on visual contact that would be the best.. I am getting ready to order my 3717 Pilot strap from HK Tan.. but i would like to ask your help with dimensions and styles .. (as far as stiching) .. i know what I have in mind but I would like to be specific in the dimensions and the stiching.. if you have pics of yours, that would be really helpful. I'm thinking of ordering 2 different styles since it takes a while for him to make them.. brown and black.. with two styles of stiching. Thanks for the time Lani

A comparative review has been done I'm sure.. just to tired to look for it .. but this came today and the older version was had about a year 1/2 ago .. there is a big difference .. I sent you a pm with info about where you can go to find the collectors with prices.. all i am saying is ask the members who have bought the BB's and what kind of price they paid instead of jumping to the conclusion that this is the only price... .. And I already apologized so .. do you want to dwell on it or get the best price for the BB?.. just loking at your joined date .. this month..so maybe others could guide you to the best prices the collectors etc... a lot of us learned by trial and error.. if that's the route you choose to go.. go ahead.. if you would like to utilize the info and knowledge here.. it's here for you to.

Ok >. then I stand corrected.. about your reps, shop around got my BB for a lot less.. not taking anything away from TWP show us your reps then .. pics? 15 starter set... .. jist kidding around man there are a number of collectors who have the A7750 movement SS bracelet between 300 and 400 but 370 may as well be 400 .. the A7750 movement is a good movement .. better than the older version.. maybe you should ask who has the best price ... that would help... just that most of the post ... are from people who really never get any reps but seem to rip apart collectors, and there are members who take a chance on reps .. then write reviews good or bad to inform the membership, even if it's not worth buying.. my apologies for getting"hot" a lot of the reps are .05 or less ... difference from the genuine in height and thickness.. not a real big deal.. i rather be concerned with the dial , hands, font etc... movement.. go to the dealers review section.. i have a collector that i deal eith .. but to be fair you should read there first then maybe others can chime in..
