I've just had the experience ... The BIG deal with our Admin is that our raffles are honest and no room is allowed for anything other than total fainess IMO Admin handled this with pure facts ... Imagined spending years building something and finding out someone circumvented that work to arrive at the same result in numbers using dishonest means... More apparent members may draw others .. Weather we are 100 or 1000 the point is integrity.. That is what we are based on I would be livid it I worked for years honestly to see someone else use dishonest tactics to try and gain whatever they are trying to gain. I believe a leader as we have looks as this community as in his care and not as a "town he owns" leadeship in it's purist form

Again the point of the thread as I see it is not to degrade or compete for who is bigger.. The man who aided a sinking ship an has worked tirelessly for many .. Many years has built a forum on honesty .. Integrity .. In designing a raffle software that cannot be rigged .. To protecting members against scams (which is the number 1) reason why this forum has percevered through thick and thin ... Has been based on being truthful to it's membership!! It's easy for those than come on board to look for a rep and are supported with info to wonder "why"?? Try spending hours on end prepping a review so others can benefit.. And make wise choices.. And Admin spend weekends upgrading software .. So we can have a forum that by all accounts does not have as much tech problems as the other foras..... do you see sub forums set up here so other forum members can gather when their forum is down ?? Two tone has gracious enough to do that so all can have a place to post when their home forums are down. I understand another forum is bashing RWG for posting this thread.. Trying to play us as something other than what what we are... The same ones that claimed we were a copy of the original RWG... How cowardly of them .. IMO..At least our Admin had the Intestinal fortitude to post the truth and back it up with facts Nd not bad mouth in a passive aggressive manner .. Wish others would man up to !! This thread is not a bashing of the RG membership ..IMO.. But the deceptive way in which a forum is trying to build it's numbers ...attracting new members .. Weather you are 1000 or 30,000 stro g the point is we are a community in which honesty is a cardinal rule.. Not dishonesty as a means to an end.. We all have given from our own collections to support the entire membership..

There's a lot of pirating going on with Joshuas pics.. It was recently by a so called dealer on another florin that I will keep anonymous.. Reason new members should stay grounded here.. And I'd in doubt post a question we're here to support safety in this hobby

Agree totally.. Numbers are what they are.. Statistics are made.. But the thread seems to be taking a turn to deviate from the point of being dishonest to one of "popularity and being 'busy' " I believe the point and facts are here for everyone to see.. It's not about who has the more social popularity .. But "denial" is not a river in Egypt when it comes to the point if the thread and that point not being about who is the more popular social network... Or who has the most irrelavent posts.. it's natural I guess if I'm caight cheating to change the angle of the topic when confronted by a wife or GRF when I am holding a smoking gun

I'd yawn but then again.. We're all used to you being over inflated when talking about youself Dave the point "again" of the facts here are just about falsifying facts .. Kinda obvious .. As far as any forum being more popular.. I don't take the thread in that context ... Your comments remind me of a saying we have about some gym members..... "they see something different than we do when the look in the mirror" or .. " their wives and girlfriends are lying to them" .. We use these saying's when some strut around with cut up t- shirts when they have nothing to strut and should be covering up my point being these guys are legends in their own minds.. And haven't earned the respect .. The members here that have gone the extra mile (and there are many on all the forums) have earned the respect and are rather humble in their approach.. Unless you ate filled with fear.. There is nothing to brag about when you do the right thing in giving back.. Your home forum should be the best in your eye's.. Best suited for you that is.. But to say a certain forum is more "popular" is a bold statement given the facts.. What were you booted off the mod team for?? Working too hard ?that's not the type of forum I would call popular .. Iwould excpect more if I were to give blood sweat and tears as you seem to have from my home forum Never knew a forum took so much work behind the scenes to be successful.. Hmmm learn something knew everyday.. And here we just lollygag around waiting for things to happen

Some say that other foras have more sales/trading going on.. RWG .. IMO is not all about member's selling their goods or is it a totally social network, although we are very social to some extent because of the bonds that are found here. I like to think of the community as the front runner in tech info and knowledge. With ziggy as our in house horologist and so many members verses on movement knowledge.. Ubi has enough knowledge to fill anyones questions when building Frankens .. Kruzer.. (watchmeister) with genuine Pam parts etc. I myself abstain from selling my reps for the simple reason that .. U can't please everyone and human nature always wants perfection in items that ate purchases.. And since we are dealing in reps.. I would rather donate my reps to the raffles to further our community. RWG has always been about pure and detailed knowledge.. So let other foras claim whatever they want ... RWG is what it is... The best watch forum for reps ... I'm glad it's not totally a social platform .. That can really get boring after awhile.. I suspect no one will raise the question about why the numbers are infalted over at RG for fear of being banned... One thing about RWG that allows certain freedoms compared to other foras ..

Having communicated with Our Admin .. T. In the past... I can say beyond a doubt that his values and ethics are above RWG ever falsifying ANYTHING.. be it member count.. raffle contests.. donation use.. and anything that would compromise the integrity of the Community !! As much as I too don't frequent other fora's I could see where the tactic of 'Claiming' to be the largest forum with the most members would boost interest in membership criteria.. As RWG has always stood for honesty and withstood many attempts to discredit our Community .. I can see this tactic as being very "dis-honest" and flagrant ... in it's attempt to draw membership.. So the question I ask "myself" is; what is it I'm looking for in a Rep forum?.. because the argument has been made that we are dealing in replica watches, so what is the point of honesty?.. kinda talking through ones arse isn't it ?.. but the fact remains that RWG is, and will continue to be the leader in Honest and reliable tech info .. the membership speaks volumes.. from #1 to the newest member.. we are here to support one another in the hobby of replicated watches.. Bigger does not mean better.. although some would like to think so..so as we grew .. other fora's target the "we are bigger" mantra.. Hard work from day 1, when Admin rescued a drowning membership and has work tirelessly to improve the board for all that wish to enjoy not getting scammed and can feel safe spending their money .. and has built a forum with the most "registered" members.. I can understand totally the "feelings" when another forum "claims" to be bigger in the number of members.. So Honesty and ethics does in fact start at the very Top of the food chain for RWG.. Admin always is there for us.. and trusts that the raffles are held to the highest of integrity.. as are the donations for upgrading membership... There have been claims of members not getting their upgrades.. when we have no records of them upgrading.. these members are obviously from other forums and are again trying to discredit the community.. I try and not take it personally.. but then again.. this is my internet home.. and when someone attacks the integrity of our home.. I cannot help but look at it as an attack on everything that is held dear to our Admin Team.. We are not about personal profit.. never have been.. never will be.. we are about Support through honest info.. So all the Prop's to T !!!! for his time and before we became self supporting.. "his" monies to get "THE RWG" to the top of the Rep world. !!!!! AC/Lani
