    Tudor...

I have two hour hands at my disposal, I'll try it with those first. Thanks for the offer, though. Asian 21j hands have a smaller radius than ETA movements, right? I'll try my luck tomorrow... hopefully it'll work out.

    still in your possession?

I have - but not with this 76100. Has anyone tried doing that mod yet? Looks to me to be nearly impossible without bending/damaging the hands. I have steady hands, but not that steady.

Added a gen pearl, and a different bezel. I can finally say that this one is now officially finished. Although I'm still considering a MBK case to replace the current Cartel 5512 (CGs).
  5. Great story, stunning watch. Enjoy it.
  6. Looks like a T-39 service replacement. Nice watch btw, it's a shame the Yuki dial is a tad too blue tho.
  7. Excellent work - next level modding indeed.

    Another addition to the stable!
  9. I've been thinking about printing my own too. But what paper is used among the people who have done so? I'm guessing you want something that doesn't show texture (like glossy paper?) but with a satin/matt finish.

    Damn brother, that looks amazing.

    Nearing its completion.
  12. Starting a new trainee-ship (along with my good friend Mr. Tudor).
  13. Not a bad present indeed. pbdads packaging is something special, in a positive manner.
  14. Current diver line-up. A few upcoming projects:
  15. And another update. I took out the original dial, and I replaced it with a NDT dial. Moreover I also stripped the 'tritium' from the hands, this because I wasn't exactly happy with the previous results (and it also didn't match with my current dial). The dial was 'vintagized' by me -- I'm quite happy with the endresult. I went for a water-contaminated look, hence the small 'fungi/mould' stains on the dial. And last, the pictures: Thanks for looking!
  16. Thanks guys, that's very helpful. So I guess I got lucky with the amplitude -- though, +19sec a day isn't that great. I guess a 'good' movement, or the chance that it is a decent/oiled/non-dirty movement, is more important.
  17. Thanks, mate. Gen crystal is a huge difference - night and day. The old clark crystal doesn't even come close (especially the cyclops). Not afraid to remove the hands/dial really, just hesitant because I don't have any low-end reps to experiment with (I don't want to mess up a WM9 or MBK watch...). I guess I should be getting some cheapies to fool around with -- it shouldn't be that hard, after a few test runs. Although doing the hands wasn't that bad, and I quite like the outcome. I went for tritium contamination, which imo went great. But I agree, if I were to lume hands perfectly... no way in hell it would be possible with out removing the hands first. Yep, the Yuki is awesome! It's such a beautiful bracelet, and spot on compared to the gen (apart from the type stampings, but that doesn't bother me one bit). Although I have an old version that can't fit gen 2mm springbars, I believe they've 'fixed' that in there recent 7206 bracelets. Oh well... Last, you sure about the CGs? I've shaped them A LOT. Compared to the gen (depending on year) I'm quite happy with how they are now. Pretty sure I'll overdo it if I do another shave. Ugh, I just [censored] up my keyless works (I think). Stem won't mount anymore... fuuuuck. Guess I'll have to take off the hands after all, LOL.
