Found it sitting in my watchmaker's junk box. Broken pin for the clasp flip-over. 5 minutes on my bench and all fixed. It does have a bit of stretch but hey, it's "justasgood" for me

Freddy, That would defeat my purpose. The watch was a donor for my now gone PG 5512. I gave the Gen dial to Justin. So I had the case sitting in a drawer and decided to throw together a low cost franken. After I get some hands that match, this one will be done.

2 things: 1) I am no expert so the crowns you bought may be 704's I doubt it but hey, you never know. 2) The crown in the first pic of my last post(the vintage daytona) has a Gen 704 crown so you can see the clarity of the stamping and all nuances.

look at the width of the mouth(Opening at the base of the crown) The loose crown has a rounder(bigger) opening.
